My 2 year old loves this book especially as he can interact do the different noises on each page. We're now on our second copy as the original was so tatty and even his carer in nursery is finding it difficult to get him to read a different book in quite time.

He's 7 months old, and does not cease to enjoy this book. He wants to hear it over and over again, and is always happy and excited when we read it to him. If you only get one book for your baby- get this one!

I was disappointed at the small size of the board book - even tiny fingers find it hard to poke through the holes munched by the caterpillar. The little toy is cute, I had thought that he would be able to 'eat his way through the holes in the pages', but as stated above the book is too small. Having said that , The Very Hungry Caterpillar is a classic enjoyed by my children 20 years ago and still popular today.

I can't help but write a review for this book even though we don't read it anymore. It is a very treasured book which my children absolutely loved - a real favourite. It is charming, sweet and fun. It tackles problems of pregnancy on every page in a calm, lilting poem which is perfectly suited to very young children. It gives an explanation for things which might otherwise frighten children such as morning sickness and tiredness. It is particularly touching to read that the author became father to twins at the end.

A sweet, safe, kind book which is a great help when you are expecting a baby and the elder sibling is still very young.

I bought all 4 books from this collection, they are perfect for youngsters.
The pages are thick card, so not so easy to rip, bend or mutilate!!!
Any drool is easily wiped clean too :o)

Good little bedtime story books, with nice story, good colours & plenty of familiar faces from the TV progrm.

Highly recommended.

I bought all 4 books from this collection, they are perfect for youngsters.
The pages are thick card, so not so easy to rip, bend or mutilate!!!
Any drool is easily wiped clean too :o)

Good little bedtime story books, with nice story, good colours & plenty of familiar faces from the TV progrm.

Highly recommended.

I read this book for two children I was babysitting on Saturday night. I think I enjoyed it more than them! What a fab idea, perfectly written and illustrated. I'm going to be buying this for all the children I know this Christmas.

Bob the Builder Pocket Library

My grandson Jack was three on 17th April. He loves Bob the Builder toys and I've already bought him most of the main toys. He does love his pocket books though. These are ideal for car journeys and to keep him quiet when necessary. The last time was at a christening. He loves having these read to him, but also he loves stacking them up and putting them back in their box. He knows every character on sight and can just pick out the main letter of the name. He loves counting them as well and always gets the total correct. They are perfect for small hands.
