This Update, was very much needed, to accomodate for future specifications. Much better than the older version.
Its clear cut, done to the bone!, it also has many cases, which are needed in the exam.

This is a great book however, keep checking the specification for your year, to see if there is anything the book missed out or didnt cover well. Other than that, its a great book to learn from.

This book is great for planning and observations it helps link these together and is great for all early years settings. I am a childminder and found it a very useful tool to support the new EYFS.

Has anyone noticed that the cover picture is actually a painting of Romeo & Juliet? It struck me as a bit bizarre really, but otherwise it's a really brilliant edition.

The Wee Free Men

Although supposedly a book for younger audiences, the Wee Free Men would be enjoyable for any Discworld fan no-matter what their age. The book follows Tiffany Aching, a young farmgirl who must deal with an invasion of nightmare creatures, the disappearance of her younger brother and her own burgeoning power. All she has to help her is a frying pan, a book on the Diseases of the Sheep and the Wee Free Men, tough and drunken pictsies who enjoy a good fight.

Although the book does get off to something of a bad start it does pick up as you read and it turns into a greatly entertaining story. Terry Pratchett is a brilliant righter and this book is a great exposition of his strengths being funny, thoughtful and inventive all at the same time. The ... Read More:

This book is brilliant. As a home edeucator and having muddled through teaching my daughter French to GCSE level with a mix of inadequate books I was DELIGHTED to find this one for Spanish. We used it to take both of us from nothing to GCSE Spanish level in four months. It has EVERYTHING you need as well as a brilliant grammar section at the end - I am not keen on the current structureless way of learning languages. The only extra thing you need to do apart from going through this book systematically (out loud), is to download the past papers and mark schemes from AQA, if that is your board,and to get something for the accent - we used an old Collins Spanish (South American)Phrase book - and away you go. i've used this book for both my maths modular exams now and i think the're excellent. its good because they seperate the book into chunks and also its got exercises at the end of each page. very very good i recommend this to anyone who's fed up with the normal reading revision books.

I am only give it a couple of stars for the insight into life in Pompeii and the lovely pictures, but I do not think it is that great for learning Latin.

I am teaching Latin to my daughter and we started of with this book. She did not do very well, although she was keen to learn. We now use the more traditional "So you really want to Learn Latin", published by Galore Park, which is brilliant - lots of exercises, with the grammar taught in a logical order. You go straight into 4 tenses of "amo" in the first chapter and my daughter is coming on leaps and bounds now.

My main problem with the CLC is that it is "all over the place", ie you start by learning only the nom. and acc. of nouns and by the end of book 1, only the dat. is added. I feel it is much ... Read More:
