This is a super CD and both my daughters (9 and 7) have found it really useful. We listen to a different multiplication table each morning on the long and rather tedious car journey to school and it has worked wonders in terms of their times tables. I can thoroughly recommend it (although adults will probably find it increasingly annoying and irritating with each listening!!).

My daughter loves this book. I guess it's because the little girl in the book sits her teddy on the potty and shows teddy what to do. As my daughter is very attached to her own teddy this is a real hit with her. I always find the book open on the page where there's a picture of three little girls and teddy sitting on different potties, obviously her favourite bit. Although it has not helped speed up the training process it does help to convince her to at least try sitting on the potty.

Dudley is a hand puppet set inside a book. He has bad manners - shouting instead of singing, talking in the cinema and refusing to clean his teeth.
Verity (2 1/2 years old) loves him and we have used Dudley to teach her what good manners are. As well as asking us to control and be Dudley's voice, she will also sometime control him herself and have long conversations with him.
To make a book interactive by simply combining it with a hand puppet is a genius idea and it makes a refreshing change from 'sit down and listen' storytelling.

I am a teaching assistant who works one on one with a ten year old with mild cerebal palsy. I bought this pack to help him learn his tables. My initial assesment was it looked to be exactly what I was looking for, but after trying to work with the child, it was not as good as I thought. He loved the sound track (which I found a bit monotonous)and the wall chart was great, as it helped him to keep up on the more difficult numbers, but he had difficulty with the fridge magnets as they are tiny and far too fiddley as he has poor co-ordination and grip. I took them home and asked my seven year old to play with them and he too found them difficult to manover, so I guess they should be bigger. There are also individual tables cards in a holder which ... Read More:

I got this book with a few other baby items to make up for the free delivery, and I was so pleasantly surprised. Fantastic, robust, tactile book with lots of different textures for little hands to explore, which also plays a tune. Beautifully illustrated, my 3 month old shrieks with delight when I read it to her just before bed, she also tries to 'read' along!
I've spent a small fortune on various cot books, but this by far out shines them all!

My 2 1/2 year old loves this book! She knows how to wee in the potty but her stubborness means she only does it on her terms when she wants to! This book however has rekindled her interest in being a big girl and got her all excited about using the potty again. Hoorah!!!
The only two slight problems with it are the need to substitute some of the American lingo and having to read it to her every night, as it is her current favourite bedtime story!!!!
Highly recommended book.

My almost 9 month old boy LOVES this range of books. He loves touching all the different textures on the pages and is learning to turn the pages himself now. My just turned 3 year old boy still enjoys them too, so these are a nice choice of book to read to them both together. They're very sturdy and quite toothproof too!

As a primary teacher I can highly recommend this publication to any colleagues looking for ideas for yoga activities - I've just used them with an 'Golden Time' group of mixed ages (P1 - P7) and are they were a huge success. Despite the range of ages, and a couple of children with mild physical problems, everybody was able to attempt the poses with a good level of success.
The pack is divided into different, colour-coded categories (breathing; standing postures; back bends; forward bends; games; balances; etc). This allows you to adopt a pick-n-mix approach to put together a session. Each week I choose the sections we are going to work from (I start with breathing and a balance, finish with a 'time-in' activity, and then choose 2 ... Read More:

I have a number of books in this series and find them excellent. The pen wipes off with a dry cloth if done fairly quickly, meaning that the page can be reused immediately with no drying time. My son really gained much pleasure from the books before he went to school and now in reception he is reinforcing his learning by using them.

This was the first Usborne book I bought for my son, and it's still one of his favorites. He loves to roar along with each lion and find the tactile part of the pages. A beautiful book, wonderfully illustrated and excellent for the age group. A definite must-have!
