I am assuming that the review below, copied from the `Comments' area of this item, was the original review that the other two reviews refer to - so well done to all who got it deleted from the system.
I couldn't agree more with these two reviews on this item - this is a blank baby book for parents to fill in, with photos and text, as their baby develops over those precious first 12 months.
What does puzzle me is the fact that it got a positive vote in the first place - unless the author is also guilty of voting for his own reviews which is quite possible given how his `helpful' votes whizz up - you only need to look back at the review pages to see how obtuse the subjects are and how suspicious the voting is, especially on items ... I am really surprised that this book has not been reviewed before. I have used all of the books in the Key Stage 2 range and recommended them to every school I have worked in. The reason being they are clear, differentiated and offer good practise in consolidation of topics. You can supplement your NNS round them. They are fantastic.

This is not the genre of books that I usually read but I was hooked from the first page.
The quality of Phillip Pullman's writing meant that I was instantly transported to firstly Victorian London, then Razkavia, a country that I almost feel patriotic about.
I now look forward to reading the preceeding three Sally Lockhart books.

This is a fantastic book for fans and collectors of the Famous Five, whatever their age. It is a handsome book, carefully and artistically produced. It is a thick hard-backed volume, 253 pages long, in full colour, and seemingly assembled with much love and respect as well as affection towards both Enid Blyton and the Famous Five.
The book is not only packed with plenty of articles on how to survive various situations, such as shipwrecks, being lost, crossing rivers, cracking codes, climbing rocks, spotting a liar, etc, but also contains a full-length new Famous Five story about a long lost treasure. The story portion of the book is excellently illustrated in full colour, in a style very reminiscent of the original 'Fives' illustrator, ... Read More:

This is my all time favourite book and Jacqueline Wilson is my best author. I have read many of her books and have enjoyed all of them. Candyfloss is very good and is all about a little girl called Floss who doesn't want to go to Australia with her mum and Steve. But she decides to go and live with her dad instead. What will happen to Floss and her dad when they get chucked out of the cafe?
To find out you will have to read this book!!!!!!!!!

I thought that this was a real good book however the main character was yet again another young girl (who again turns out to be described as a skinny tall girl who's not very popular) who seems too young to have the role she has. You just can't wait to find out what happens next but some of the things that happen in this story sound a bit unrealistic. I wasn't very happy with the ending either, everything happened so qick so it was very short and you would have expected more things to happen to make the story sound more realistic. I would recommend buying the book but don't always think that something very interesting is going to happen next; at leats this is what is my opinion.

I am not a big book reader, far from it actually, but Ruby in the Smoke just had me cooped up indoors. This was actually the first real book i sat down and read in my own time, a good 5 years ago. I was on holiday, bored stiff because i was too young to go clubbing with my brothers and i was stuck in with mum and dad. So, mum suggested i read a book and handed my Ruby in the Smoke, she hadn't read it but bought it out of her love for the 'His Dark Materials' series. So i thought, what the hell, i'll give it a try.
Sally Lockhart is a sixteen year old orphan living in Victorian London, living with an education, which extends to - straight shooting and military tactics, business is her only educational strong point. When Sally's father is drowned ... Read More:

It seems that lots of Christmas traditions were born in the UK between 15th and 19th century. Charles Dickens cleverly used the background of the Victorian houses and societies and produced a splendid Christmas story.
The highlight of this classic is that Mr Scrooge gradually becomes aware of his selfishness and indifference whilst being hooked on earning a lot of money for himself, while his former colleague, Marley takes him to the world where an awful number of people are suffering from the poverty. Marley who died seven years ago feels extremely guilty for ever not helping the poor when he was alive. Having become a ghost, he begs Mr Scrooge to provide goodwill to the miserable people. Moreover, he is taken to various places, in line with Christmas ... Read More:
