Absolutely georgeous book, bought it for our daughter when she was 9 months old. She loved it from the day one. Now nearly 3 years old, we still regularly read it, many flaps have been torn off by now but that doesn't seem to make any difference to her, it still is one of her favourite books. SO wort money. Highly recommended.

I bought this book based on the good reviews. My one year old loves the interactive bits of the book - but am I the only person who questions the binding method of a book designed for young children? I keep having to 'thread' the pages back onto the comb and I fear it's not going to last very long in comparison to 'proper board books' which is a shame

I bought this book based on the good reviews. My one year old loves the interactive bits of the book - but am I the only person who questions the binding method of a book designed for young children? This is a lovely version of this book but I find that the pop-ups distract my two 3-year olds from the story. We got this as a present, and I personally would haver prefered a plain version of the book. Also, the children find it quite difficult to get some of the animations to work and pull in the wrong direction too strongly, so that inevevitably we are seeing some wear and tear after only 2 months.
