I got this book for my 5 month old daughter and I love it and so does she. The pictures are big and colourful, and she loves me reading the poems to her in a sing song way. I prefer it to books with one or two sentences! We also enjoy looking for the starfish doing silly things! The reason I have given the book 4 stars is because I would would have liked it more had it had stiffer pages that would be able to handle pulling and pushing and being chewed on. The price is also a bit steep. That said, I will still be buying the rest of the series, as its beautifully written and illustrated.

A beautiful pop-up book which is to be appreciated by all ages. And when you get to the end page, a truly delightful Christmas Tree with twikling lights - should appeal to the child in all of us.

My son is aged 5 months and I have been reading him this book everyday for about 2 months. Everytime he sees the book he smiles, and laughs through out my reading it. The great thing about this book is that the rhymes are like nursery rhymes and so are great for the very young, also the bright colours and amazing pop up features really hold his interest. I would recommend this book, and the other Jack Tickle books to anyone with young children.

This book is big, colourful and lively. Pre-school children, especially the boys in our nursery really enjoyed the naughty antics of the dinosaurs. Even children who can count much further than 10 enjoyed the fun reinforcement to ten.

This is a nice little story but is let down a little by the colours chosen for the first 2 pages of the book.

The story requires you (and your wriggly child) to follow the crumbs (dots) across each page until the Mouse finds its friend.

The problem with this otherwise lovely book is that on the first 2 pages, the background is yellow which means that the dots (also yellow) are very difficult to see and almost impossible to point out to your wriggly child.

However the crinkly trousers in the middle never fail to get my daughter's attention!
