This is a great book, especially for all noisy boys! My little boy liked it from an early age and loved guessing all the noises, and joining in with making a lot of them. It has lots of fun flaps which are easy for little fingers and nice things to spot and talk about on all of the pages. It makes me laugh to see the surprised faces of the boys being accused of making all the noise, and it has a fun ending too.

My son is a big Thomas fan and absolutely loves this book. It has been a great learning experience for him and by two years old he could count to ten and recognise all the numbers (and the trains that go with them!) by using this book. I'm looking for a Thomas alphabet book now as this worked so well! Also has colours and days of the week and clocks. Thoroughly recommended!

My son is a big Thomas fan and absolutely loves this book. It has been a great learning experience for him and by two years old he could count to ten and recognise all the numbers (and the trains that go with them!) by using this book. I'm looking for a Thomas alphabet book now as this worked so well! Also has colours and days of the week and clocks. Thoroughly recommended!

The Very Lazy Lion

We love this book - my two year old loves the lion and we read it over and over again. It's particularly good during the potty training phase as it's not too long but keeps them really interested whilst waiting for the wee wee to come! Would definitely recommend these books as they have lovely rhymes and really good pop-ups. Well done Jack Tickle!

My grandchildren have lots of books here and both of the babies, now aged 13mths and 14mths, have enjoyed this book for a while. As they got older they pointed at pictures and chose their favourite pages, made appreciative noises and gave lots of smiles especially loving Teddy peeping out of the bath and having his own toothbrush. They finish by gently making sure Teddy is in bed with Buster.
What is lovely also is that the 4yr old can read it to his baby brother too.
I really recommend having this book from an early age.

Chicken Licken

Chicken Licken is a great story for kids and keeps them entertained again and again. They love joining in with each part and trying out new voices for the characters. My class of 4 and 5 year olds just can't get enough of this book and if it encourages just one of them to buy a book and enjoy stories then it's done a good job.

My son Daniel and I love this little board book. It is just the right size and robust enough for him to be involved in holding and turning the pages. There are also small board flaps which assist the unfolding story.
The illustrations have a gorgeous warmth and the colouring of the book has a creamy ochre tone and earthy colours which capture the woodland feel of the story.
The story is of a little bear in bright red waist coat, writing letters to his friends and delivering them each at their different homes around the wood. There is a sense of anticipation until all the letters are delivered and then, delightfully, one of the flaps becomes that of an envelope which you open to invite you and bear's friends to come to his party.
