No matter what anyone says, and no matter what happens, no other musical can beat the one and only "Rocky Horror Picture Show"! Seriously! I know I may be exaggerating, but tied with the Baz Luhrman classic Moulin Rouge!, this is THE greatest musical of all time!
What I like most about "The Rocky Horror Picture Show" is the fact that it has its own inventive style. I mean, look at musicals like Mary Poppins and Sound of Music (both good films by the way). While they have people singing nice lovely songs aimed at families, RHPS tells about a "Sweet Transvestite" and his servants whom dance to "The Time Warp". How many musicals use THAT idea? Also, the characters are brilliant, the story is well thought-out and the songs are all-singing, ... Read More:

this film has everything the modern film usually lacks, these include-script,plot,acting,lovable characters, relavent music, iconic scenes, and become a cult classic.
there are tonnes of scenes that everyone will love its a hilarious movie with some very outragious scenes(very raunchy and(homo)erotic)which i love!!!
its a classic film that everyone needs to see.

I was enthralled with this from start to finish - I had loved THE WINDS OF WAR, but this was far, far better for me. The replaced characters in the cast seemed a distinct improvement - more likeable, less jarring. But mostly, what I valued, was the sweep of the history of the war - the most important steps highlighted, explained, and put clearly into their context in the turnaround after Dunkirk and Pearl Harbour. I found the story of Midway especially illuminating. I hadn't realised that the odds were so heavily in favour of Japan (more than 3 to 1). Singapore, Guadalcanal, Stalingrad and the end of the Russian campaign were all fitted neatly into an easily accessible historical framework, so that for the first time I grasped the movement of the events. The manic side of ... Read More:

The Rocky Horror Picture Show is a classic, briliantly done & very entertaining.
I was therefore so disappointed with Shock Treatment...felt like turning it off after 20 minutes & wished I had by the end of the film!

As with any sequel, the viewers of the original movie may be a tad disappointed because the formula may have changes some. However this movie can stand alone as one of the outstanding zombie movies like "My Boyfriend's Back" (1993).
Seems we have not seen the last of Bernie. Turns out he embezzled a couple of million dollars and others are out to get it. Our old friends Larry (Andrew McCarthy) and Richard (Jonathan Silverman), accused of being accomplices, found the key and once again are off to the islands. Mean time back at the ranch Bernie is undergoing a voodoo process to track down the deposit box; this process leaves Bernie a dancing fool.

I found this final series exciting and deeply satisfying. The previous two parts (Winds of War, and part one of this) called very strongly for completion, and that is what we have here... IN SPADES! I found the same wonderful sense of historical perspective that I noted in my review of part one... I felt I had got an overall grasp of the essentials of a very important and complex period, but also, that I had seen, spelled out in graphic detail, the results of the concentrated arrogance, stupidity, and self-indulgence that the Nazi ideal foisted on this suffering planet during that time. Nothing in my life so far had prepared me for the absolute horror revealed in this coverage... and nothing, I am sure, will ever allow me to forget it... which is really good. This lesson in the consequences ... Read More:

I purchased this dvd originally with dread. I expected it to follow the old Disney policy of churning out terrible sequels to their classic films.
On reading the back cover for the storyline i was left wondering whether i even wanted to watch it. But was very pleased that i did. It was almost like watching a sequel made for a film just a year or so after the original, instead of the 40 years+. Great attention was spent on the animation to match the original, and the voices are very nearly spot-on.
The final touch is a story that could easily be an original work, instead of a followup tale. All in all Disney have to be congratulated in doing a sequel that will make all (young and old) glad to buy it.
