That has to be one of my favourite lines from a sitcom that has so much quality in it! You can pick any episode and find many great lines in it. The writing and the acting are both superb, this is a must have for your DVD collection.

This is a definite comeback for Doctor Who after the lamentable time of Martha Jones who to me was a very one dimensional character. Catherine Tate, who isn't constantly in awe of the Doctor, adds a lot of humour to proceedings.
The first episode, "Partners in Crime" was not scary as such but made you think and featured great turns by Sarah Lancashire as Miss Foster and Verona Joseph (Jess from Holby City) as nosy a journalist. The Adipose were also the cutest monster in existance.
Episode number two, "The Fires of Pompeii" is probably the weakest episode as the monsters were neither scary nor particularly thought provoking. However, when you return to this episode, having watched the whole of this series there are many threads ... Read More:

My MP Ann Cryer is in this film as an extra.
One of the best childrens films ever made in the UK. Jenny Agutter recently made another version ( her third; she was in the BBC serial of the same book prior to this version) this time playing the mother. However it was not as good and lacked the charm of Lionel Jeffries version.

I had not heard of this film until I read MADE IN YORKSHIRE by Tony Earnshaw and Jim Moran. They say it was the only film made by Yorkshireman James Mason in Yorkshire. I think they are wrong. He made a film with his former wife Pamela in the 1940's in Yorkshire. Her dad who was a Yorkshire textile baron, financed it.
The Water Babies film is worth watching but not as good as it could have been. It was from the same team who made The Railway Children but how could anyone hope to match that classic.
Mason is brilliant and is the underrated Billie Whitelaw.

the 9th movie in the much loved series and released in 1964 is notable for being the last black and white carry on and the first of the leading lady of carry on babs windsor. This film also mocks the james bond film series and also takes a swipe at the classic films the third man and casablanca.
Starring kenny willams and bernie cribbins, spying takes the gang around the world, more like around the studio chasing after a villain who threatens humanity and with some warped gadgets and some of the worst disguises seen in the history of the world, carry on spying is a real classic with a sense of mischief that few will ever be able to recreate,a worthy addition to anyones collection either as a one off carry on or as part of your carry on collection.

If you are looking for a show like The Two Ronnies' "By The Sea" or "The Picnic" this is not for you. To list Ronnie Barker as the star is deceiving ... he is no more prominent than the many other actors that appear. I found the film slow, dated and unfunny. The accompanying interview went beyond being 'so bad its funny'.

At last one of the best 60s British comedies gets a DVD release. The Big Job is a real classic - full of silliness, visual jokes and, best of all, a great view of contemporary social attitudes courtesy of a superb Talbot Rothwell script. Joan Sims has never been better than as the randy landlady, Dick Emery (who I've never really found sympathetic elsewhere) is very good indeed, and there is a lovely cameo from Derek Guyler as a musically obsessed Police Sergeant.
There are 3 quite outstanding scenes:-
The first evening meal chez Sims with Emery's explanation of bird watching.
Guyler taking down the particulars of the theft of a lorry full of tools.
Emery and Sims discussing the possibility of changed sleeping arrangements. ... Read More:

I have the water babies since i was a verry little girl, and the story has always intrigued me. It's a great childrens film that i feel adults can also enjoy. Just one point, if you really enjoyed the film i would recommened you not to read the book. I have read it recently thanks to this film, but i discovered from the offset that the film is extremely different to the book and i cannot watch the film in the same light ever again. Overall a great film all the family will enjoy and watch over and over again.

Remembered by many as Hitchcock's final great movie (although his next, and last, movie Family Plot is, in my opinion, unfairly maligned), Frenzy can certainly be described as a return to form after the disappointments of his three previous movies (Marnie, Torn Curtain & Topaz). Echoing his silent classic The Lodger from 46 years earlier, but with more explicit handling of rape and murder, it's murder and suspense by the way of black comedy.
The neck-tie murderer is on the loose in London, and when Brenda Blaney (Barbara Leigh Hunt) is murdered in the office of her own dating agency, suspicion falls on her ex-husband Richard (Jon Finch). The real murderer however is his friend, likeable grocer Bob Rusk (Barry Foster). Whilst Foster's character has "certain peculiarities" ... Read More:
