Bad acting, dull nonsense of a script, poorly paced and directed.
Anyone giving this pathetic excuse for a tv programme 5 stars must have a 1 star life.
Stop sitting indoors watching hour upon hour of this patronising rubbish and find some friends instead.
Preferably ones who don't like this bunk.

28 Days Later is an amazing film, great action and story, I didn't want to go to London ever again after seeing this. The DVD itself has no extras so that was disapointing but the film is excellent so extras don't matter.

28 Weeks Later is even better than 28 Days, there was more blood and gore, better character development and in this one, I liked the characters more so I actually cared if they died or not.

2 amazing films that are excellent value for money.

An engrossing show that is hard hitting. The narration is a bit annoying and on the whole unnescessary, although occasionally it doesn add a thought provoking point or commentary.

I don't usually watch prison drmams, but decided to give this a go having read positive reviews- and I'm glad I did. It is dark and offers an antidote to syrupy sentimental drama, to implausible dramas, or to those relying on thinly drawn characters.

Each episode develops the characters further, and the storylines are high quality allowing tensions and dynamics to be explored. In fact this is quite an intersting study in psychology.

Worth a look.

This little gem has everything , I rarely watch movies twice but this i can see over and over again ( you get something more every time you watch it ) a perfect mix of adventure/plot and moral messages with twists from start to finish

The opening sequence of this film includes arial shots of an American city in which a church spire is dominated by two much taller skyscrapers belonging to the chief businesses there. Visually, this sums up one of the important themes of the play, how material values in Verona have become more important than spiritual ones. There are many more ways in which this film intelligently translates Shakespeare's words into pictures. Particularly enjoyable is the way in which, at the Capulet's party, all the major characters play a symbol of themselves: Tybalt is a devil, Lady Capulet is Cleopatra, Mercutio is a transvestite, Juliet is an angel, and though Romeo begins as an astronaut, he ends up looking far more like a knight in shinning armour. Harvey Keitel may have run off with what plaudits there were for this hidden gem of a movie, but for me it is the performance of William Hurt that infuses the film with it's thoughtful, mellow, non-idealogical flavour.

There are a couple of scenes which Keitel and Hurt perform memorably together, one involving a collection of photographs and the final scene of the movie which is 'Augie Wren's Christmas Story' originally written by Paul Auster, and the creative spark behind the writing of the script. If you were to watch these two scenes alone I'd still recommend buying this film.

The dialogue is sharp and the direction leaves the actors to act, allowing them time to deliver as much with body language as with the spoken ... Read More:

As soon as I saw lost advertised I new I wanted to watch it, and so far I have not been disapointed. Lost is a great show filled with drama, comedy and a lot of suspense. The way that each episode has been put together is excellent. In the first series you learned things about each of the characters but not everything as that would ruin the point of the show.
Many people criticise the show for dragging out to long but that in my opinion is what makes the show so great, it keeps you guessing week after week. what other show can you think of that has kept us hanging on this long, and been just as popular as when it first started? The answer is none.

I was expecting some good things from this series after reading the reviews, and I have a pretty broad interest level when it comes to TV drama. However after getting totally hooked on West Wing and feeling empty when I had traweld through the many eposodes I looked for something else and was recommended this.

I have just got to the end of the first series, and apart from an aeroplane crashing, the story hasnt really develpoed much from there.Big egos in the story line spoil tend to make the whole thing predictable and dull. Each episode had a vague story, but it was so engulfed in endless dialogue and flashbacks that I eventually lost patience.

It always frustrates me when people review the blu ray version of something, and then fail to mention how well it travels to this stunning new HD format. After all, if you weren't interested in that aspect of it, you would have stuck with DVD right?

28 Weeks Later is a sequel to the sleeper hit 28 Days Later, which was of course famous for being shot in a part-verite manner on video instead of film. This sequel obviously has a much bigger budget and scope (many of the aerial scenes of a deserted London obviously benefit from CGI, and there are some really big action setpieces involving snipers, helicopters and even the firebombing of the entire Isle of Dogs).
