Another lousy botch by Hollywood. It seems the creativity well has become so dry that film makers are ever increasingly snapping up classic movies from other cultures and failing miserably to comprehend what made them successful the first time around.

Cinematic arse gravy of the worst kind.

The Perfect Catch is about a man's obsession with the Boston Red Sox baseball team and how he struggles to balance the time he spends following the team with the time his girlfriend wants him to spend with her.I think most people will be able to relate to the characters in this
film.Great acting and the scenes in the baseball stadium are tremendous and were actually filmed at real Red Sox matches.

Woody Allen films are always funniest with Woody in them,as he is in Anything Else.Lots of really witty dialogue, good acting performances,and an involving but unmoving script - it won't make you cry but it will make you laugh.

A fast moving, gripping monster flick. The script is predictable, but the acting and special effects are very good indeed. I don't think I have seen Johnny Messner before but he is a personable character and I shall look into his other offerings. The rest of the cast were also unknown to me, but I love seeing new talent and none of these young people disappointed.
There are loads of white water and thrills.
Well worth a viewing.

More often than not when a film is barely given the light of day even when it's got "names" in the cast and a hot-shot director you usually know that the end product is going to be one to approach with caution...

However "The Flock" is not one of those beasts and even though original director Andrew "Infernal Affairs" Lau was removed (for whatever reason) at least the money men brought in a director with a good reputation; Niels Mueller ("The Assassination of Richard Nixon")...
