Now this film did take me a while to warm up to. The first two times I tried to watch it I was rather bored, though whether this is because I'm a woman, I'm not entirely sure. However the third time I watched it all the way through, and it honestly blew my mind. Cusack's performance's in movies are generally underrated, but here he generates utter brilliance, so much so that he kind of ruined the book for me, as I kept hearing his American voice for an English character.
I've seen this film many times now, hence why I chose it as my first test of Hi-Def. Picture was good, but the film was fantastic! Great plot, well executed. Good acting from Will Smith and the legend that is Gene Hackman. I love a good conspiracy movie. Rent this movie. It's well worth it!
Tony Scott is a very seductive director. He presses all the right visual buttons. This man virtually patented the orange-filtered Simpson-Bruckheimer sky. To some, this makes him Ridley's flashy, shallow brother. But when Scott's camera happens upon a decent story and some really fine performers, as with Crimson Tide, the effect is like having your inside leg stroked in the dark for two hours. Enemy Of The State is like that. It's a fairly well-trodden story of national insecurity that's been given a good optical seeing-to: a congressman (Jason Robards) is bumped off for refusing to back a privacy bill. His murder is caught on film by an ornithologist (Jason Lee), who is similarly 'erased', but not before planting a copy of the evidence ... Read More:

Angel Heart is an excellent film. It's intriguing, it's macabre and it's beautifully shot.
The story follows the basic plot of the mysterious Louis Cypher (Robert De Niro) hiring private investigator Harold Angel (Mickey Rourke) in New York in 1955 to track down someone with whom he has 'unfinished business' with and hasn't seen since 1943.
The tale then leads to New Orleans where it always seems to rain and where anyone who the private eye (Rourke) comes into contact with is murdered in bizarre circumstances.
If you're watching this for the first time then the ending will really impress you. Even if you've seen it many times, it still doesn't fail to be very clever.

The Cosby show is a very good American family comedy. It was made in the early 1980's and feautured the great comedian and actor Bill Cosby. The show follows the everyday trials and tribulations of DR Cliff Huxtable (played by Cosby) and his family. Which include his wife Claire whose a lawyer and his five kids, Sondra, Denise, Theo, Vanessa and little Rudy. The kids cover all age groups and the show tackles many different issues the kids go through like dating, death of a pet, playing sports for school and many others. Even though it tackles some tricky subjects the show is always funny and shows how funny kids can be. Bill Cosby is also fantastic as Cliff and the way he works and talks to the kids is hillarious. The show was a huge success in America ... Read More:

US techno-thriller in which successful lawyer Will Smith's life is turned upside down when he somehow gets hold of a tape that shows prominent politician Jon Voight murdering a fellow congressman. This has to be one of the worst films I've ever had the displeasure of being forced to watch. It bears no connection to real-life bikers or biking, and is rather a film about two black street gangs, with Japanese motorbikes being included simply so they can pretend this is a biker's film. Trust me - it isn't. The "music" in this film is absolutely awful, being typical modern chart rap/hip-hop; the acting is appalling, there is no real plot, every minute is utterly dull and boring, and there are far too many utterly fake biking moments for this film to have an ounce of realism to it. This film is an insult not only to bikers, but also to true black culture. As a result, I personally despise this film and feel certain that the majority of other people will hate it too. ... This is one of the best films I have seen in a long time. The plot is terrific and the acting outstanding. There is nothing about this film I dislike.
It persuaded me to read the book. It is worth 5 stars as well.
