The makers of Juno seem determined to make it quirky and different and have made the same rubbish as numerous other so called independent movies. The music is a love it or hate it thing. I didn't like it. The dialogue is terrible, no one talks like thatm well a few people but not all the time. The onlt likeable character was the kid that fathered said sprog. he actually comes off as sweet and likable.

Firstly, i didn't expect much when this film started and much to my suprise my expectations grew worse as the film continued.
There are jokes that will make you laugh, but only if you have the intelligence lower than a 5 year old with severe learning difficulties. Now don't get me wrong, i have enjoyed previous films made by the same people, it's just that everything about the film is lack-lustre, from the performances to the script.
It seems that the writers just tried to make a film that would attract people because of their previous successes.
So i strongly recommend you go elsewhere if you want a comedy, as the only thing funny about this debacle is the attempt the actors make to save their credibility. ... Read More:

This show is funny end of, any reviewer who has given it less than 5 stars either has no sense of humour or a personal problem with the person that reccomended it to them. There certainly is a plot and plenty of character evolution, but like all classic comedy the relevance of this is secondary to making us laugh. We do not need ponder to the depths of character interaction in a sitcom, it doesn't have to be entirely believable, it just has to be funny.

Quite simply one of the worst movies I have ever seen - definitely in my top 10 worst of all time. Very few amusing parts - the main character is so irritating that he actually does provide the most laughs - but only when he is being run over AGAIN. It is almost impossible to have any empathy with any of the main characters as people simply do not behave like that (the initial porn site discussion with his best mate being a case in point) in the real world and those that do are the sort of irritating losers who you try to avoid, not spend 1.5 hours of your life watching in the vain hope something truly horrible is about to happen to them. AVOID.

It has to be said that of the 3 series of Arrested Development this is probably the most erratic in terms of storyline, however if you've read some of the other reviews you'll realise that towards the end of this series both cast and crew knew that this treasure of a show was coming to an abrupt, untimely end. This of course meant that loose ends that had been waiting to be tied up since the beginning, plus much newer story arcs needed to be resolved much quicker than the writers originally planned.
Despite all these circumstances the quality of this series certainly doesn't pale compared to the 2 preceding series. In fact you find the writers using this rather dire situation positively and using it as a basis for much of the jokes. The episode ... Read More:

Classic teenage comedy. This is a brilliant film about three school geeks who plan on going to a party to be with some girls, so they volunteer to get the booze, but it was never going to be that simple. With constant run-ins with two hilarious police and a fake I.D. that just says "McLovin" it's definitely put itself into one of my favourite comedy films along side Borat.
I couldn't recommend it enough and the picture is stunning with great menu's and great sound.
A definite must-buy for everyone, just because it's a teen movie doesn't mean only teens can watch it.

Having just watched Déja Vu for the first time, I have decided to go back in time and review Frequency in retrospect. Where the former has a rather unconvincing plot together with unsympathetic characters, Frequency is far more believable (as SF films go!), and the characters more three-dimensional and human. Where Déja Vu plods along and peters out at the end, Frequency keeps the momentum going throughout, and accelerates towards a thrilling finale.
There may be a few tiny holes in the time-travel department, but this does not detract from what is a hugely rewarding film.

A young high school girl gets pregnant, and decides to have her baby, whom she gives up to adopting parents. Her courage is to be admired and applauded. But the acting in the film is not that good, and the dialogue stilted and forced. The actors portraying her parents are very good in minor roles, especially the stepmother. And the future adoptive father is great,as he slowly realises he does not want to be a father, and backs out of his marriage entirely.

Two of the best and funniest films of the year and appeals to guys & girls. Really good to watch with the other half and have a good chuckle to (albeit perhaps at different times!!)...

The first ever movie i have ever seen of mary-kate and ashley, and it's great. I am not so mad about mary-kate and ashley like some people, but i have started to collect their films because they are brilliant actors. This is a film about two sisters sam and emma stanton, both have their completely own personality. Where's sam is a soccer football player for a team the buzzards, and emma is more into fashion and going after the boys. Emma feels upset because their father always chooses sam out of the both of them to play in his team against the others. However, emma learns how to be a better football player so the two sisters decide to swap clothes and swap teams. Only telling their father that, they find a way of having each others expressons to switch and get mom to still think they ... Read More:
