At first it looks and sounds light and even amateurish, and then you understand it is fully positioned on another level. George Lucas should watch this movie so he can learn how a space saga should be done these days.

Don't get me wrong, i love the original Star Wars movies as much as the next fan, but Serenity works on so many levels, its sci-fi, comedy, drama & horror all rolled into one and makes the star wars prequels look like rubbish.

Unlike some movies that are born from a T.V. series, Serenity does'nt play like an extended episode of its T.V. predecessor (Firefly) Even if you've never seen Firefly (shame on you) it's very easy to pick up the story from the start.

The direction is faultless, the actors know their characters so well, and considering it's budget the films special effects look fantastic.

Ah, this was just gorgeous, the lovable Keri Russel gives a true heart-felt performance. This film is simply lovable, it borders on cheesy but stays just outside that description because of the well-written script and wonderful characterisations.

It really is an unsung gem and I highly recommend it.

Slither is a film that takes ages to get going but once it does, its a brilliant film. A comet falls from space and inside is goo that infects people by jabbing them with its tenticles, and soon an entire town has been infected by the parasite. Only a handful of people, a cop, a teacher, a young girl and the town's mayor are left to kill the first person who got infect as that will kill the parasites. Great film, just beware that it takes ages to get to the point.

I have seen countless number of vampire movies from my Dad's collection.He
is a great 'Chris Lee' fan. I too love Mr.Lee's films, but, once I saw Gerard Butler, I was bowled over. This is a vampire film with a very nice twist. Chris.Plummer acts as the aged Van Helsing, who has kept the lethal
count's body in his high-security vault. The fun begins from that point. I
will not spoil the movie for new viewers by narrating the whole story in advance. All ye modern-day vampire lovers, take it from me: This is the Best. Better than the 'Blade' flicks and even better than 'John Carpenter's vampires'.

how totally dull this was!!i loved the first white noise and so was very much looking forward to seeing this!but now i wish i hadn't!It was totally random. confusing and predictable and also odd to have craig fairbrass there!!!!!
