This is the sequel to the 2004 cult movie Hellboy, which was a superb little movie made for half the budget of the majority of other movies based on comic book properties. Hellboy also had a small budget, but both movies use them to such effect that they both look like they were made for a lot more.
This sequel continues the story of the excellent first movie, but also furthers it, by taking Hellboy (Ron Perlman) further into the realm of fantasy rather than the horror of the first movie. And Hellboy 2 is all the better for it, I loved the first movie, but this just better's it in every way, especially action and special effects.
Believe me when i say you wont regret buying this on DVD, in any other year, it would ... Read More:

and I was surprised it was so short, being 45 minutes and only Episode 4. I had for some reason thought it was 75 minutes and the first three films. Also don't expect the anarchy and comedy of regular Family Guy episodes, I would say it is more a homage to Star Wars with Family Guy overlaid.
The storyline, script and even some shots closely if not exactly follow the film and this is where I enjoyed it as they are so well done. I didn't really laugh like I do with regular FG, but it is a different product and should be viewed as such.
I am guessing that they will eventually do the other films depending on the success of this and whilst I would say it is worth the cost of a rental I really can't say it is worth purchasing at only 45 ... Read More:

As good as the first 2 series.I enjoyed it more after repeated viewings and it grew on me as i missed some of the jokes 1st time around.
I think American Dad is a bit cleverer than Family Guy and obviously more political but Family Guy is still the best IMO.
The Magnificent Steven is my favourite episode and i would have given this dvd 4 1/2* and not 5* if i could but wanted to boost the overall rating.

Even though this DVD is quite old, it has some of the best Family Guy episodes. The content on the DVD really shows how Family Guy became so popular. Each episode will make you laugh out loud even if your in the worst of moods 10/10.

yes i love south Park but this is more for me it's got great humour sometimes it can be rude humour yes,but it's not crap humour like american dad..But as for this humour it's just funny comedy. So if you like the simpsons and don't give a damn about this well just watch it,much funnier than American Dad and the Simpsons.I will never say i don't find this funny like one guy put on here.

Well I've never been a massive Family Guy fan but I have always liked the programme I thought it was funny and original. But it seems to be losing it's creativity originality and comedy moments that made it so great on the first 3 seasons.
Now it has become excactly like "The Simpsons" (still better though). The episodes are good but not up to Family Guy standards, they all have funny moment but I feel like they've done it all before got it off some other good tv animated show. Aswell I think it's really stupid Family Guy fans trying to be cool and bashing the The Simpsons 1. It doesn't really matter & 2. There both as bad as each other. It seems that most programmes that become really popular just get lazy in their writting and continue to write ... Read More:

I seriously doubt that I have to take the time to explain what Family Guy is, as the chances are that you - like so many others are a fan, or at the very least have seen some episodes.
In my opinion this second season of Family Guy considerably improves on the first, which is not something that's easy to do as season one was nothing less than fantastic. But Family Guy season two is packed to bursting point with hilarious and sometimes outrageous jokes. Seth MacFarlane never fails to deliver pure comical entertainment. It's good to be given a daring show that not afraid of offending people (on that note if your easily offended then you probably should avoid Family Guy.) I would have to say the best episode in the season is "Let's go to the hop." I mean teenagers licking toads to make themselves high - ... Read More:

this film couldn't be more crap. they should have made extra episodes instead of this piece of crap its basicly old stuffed, stuffed into the amout of 3 episodes. they should have waited until around the sixth series and released a better version in the cinema.
