Having owned the original Dirty Harry DVD collection which was released back in 2002,I was looking forward to this all new release and I was not dissapointed all of the original films have been given another re-master,not just the picture but also the sound has been given the dolby 5.1 remaster as well and if you have a surround sound system then eastwoods 44 magnum sounds just like the real thing!!.

As well as the original extras there is a host of new extras and commentarys plus the addition of a small hardback book,production notes,Callaghans police ID badge! and also a poster and limited edition art cards complete the extras,sadly though no .44 Magnum included!!!.

I decided to put up a review of this film after purchasing it from Amazon, at just under 7.00GBP.
To be honest, their cannot be many people who have not seen the movie before, although, perhaps like me, it has been quite a while. DVD special features (or lack of them) don't really concern me, and this review concentrates on the film.
Basically, Eastwood is hung in error by a posse in search of a murdering cattle rustler. Eastwood is found by a passing Marshal, while still alive. After being cleared, he takes a position as a Marshal himself. While "vengeance" is to some degree in the film, Cooper (Eastwood's character) does not actively go in search if this for most of the film.

Clint Eastwood is back once again, as "Dirty" Harry Callaghan, an uncompromising cop with a Magnum .45. This is considered the best sequel of the series, as Harry has to battle a new force of crime, an underground vigilante group of cops, doing the dirty jobs the courts don't want to do, and ultimately executing them. Everyone from pimps, pushers, murders and robbers are under the bright light of the vigilante cops - and even though Harry doesn't like the system, he doesn't like this either.

This is a very good reprint of Magnum Force, the dark scenes in the ship are much clearer, and actually give you new scope to the film, also I've noticed a lot more background details, something that can't be bad. The audio is amazing too, master HD digital, ... Read More:

I quite like Chuck Norris and his films but even as a fan i can't rate this, one of his first films, very highly. When you think of Chuck Norris you think of gripping fight scenes, gunfights and explosions, but in this there is very little of that, and its more of a drama than a martial arts movie.

Chuck Norris plays Major John Booker who leads a top secret mission into Vietnam to rescue American POW's however they are set up and some of the team get killed. The ones that do get out alive go on to lead very seperate lives, Booker in particular test drives porches and teaches political science.
