Wall-e is a beautiful, magical film with a magnitude of messages for contemporary society. Disney is the one aspect of my childhood that has never lost its touch. This film shows just how fantastic the relationship between Disney and Pixar really is. Wall-e is an adorably selfless character and it is difficult not to become so emotionally attached.
I knew nothing about this film before seeing it at the cinema and was truly amazed by how moving the scenes without speech are. Although the first half of the film lacks words, this in no way lessens the inevitable entwining of viewer and character that only Disney has perfected.
Toddler, teenager or grandparent - Wall-e is entertaining for all and no one is excluded. This ... Read More:

I found the whole thing incredibly boring. I appreciate it is not necessary the best book in the series but this screen adaptation was dreadful. Ben Barnes's acting was as wooden as one of the many trees without mentioning the accent. Very disappointing after The Lion, The Witch and The Wardrobe. Treat the kids to The Spiderwick Chronicles instead if you want some decent fantasy on DVD this Christmas.

In one of Walt Disney's classics, Bagheera the panther offers to take Mowgli, a young boy, to the man village before the evil tiger Shere Khan gets to him.
This family adventure is a classic, made so by a beautiful sentimental plot about human emotions, including loyalty, sensitivity and most importantly love. And these human emotions are decoded through the animals of the jungle.
With the enchanting and fun loving actions of Baloo the bear and the honest and hard actions of Bagheera, do audiences get that true feel of the human spirit, and the facts of life, to have fun, but to face the truth as well, which is also reflected in some of the most catchy and enjoyable songs ever created for a Disney picture.

Disney films have pretty much gone downhill since the "Hunchback of Notre Dame" animated movie. In that film, the heroine kicks men in the groin to make her escape and the comedy relief is provided by a stone gargoyle that relieves itself by passing gas.
In this film, we have a live dog urinating on the leg of a prince and a chipmunk that defecates when frightened.
Is this what passes for family entertainment these days?

I bought this film from Amazon and watched it full 1080p and i have to say, this was the best movie experience i have ever had, and the best movie i have watched i ages!
The graphics and story from start to finish was inspiring! i urge anyone considering this and most defiantly via blu-ray, go straight out and get it, you will not be disappointed!

So, whilst I am 100% for the protection of animals, we need to get the balance right. This is not an animal rights protest site - it is a film review site. If anyone has actually SEEN the film and wishes to review it - you are most welcome. In the meantime - to correct some misplaced facts about what happened on the set and who was at fault for the unfortunate animals that died - have a read and you can read further (the full review - not the emotive ones) at the American Humane website......
"American Humane has rated this film "Monitored: Unacceptable" due to the numerous deaths of young animals and the unlawful and fraudulent behavior that we believe impacted their fate. Although the producers may have been victims of unscrupulous people in their hire, American ... Read More:

Great animation, characterization, sound, and imagery rule in "101 Dalmations." It's action, excitement and love, but with a dark theme that's a bit scary.

i was so happy to see this film. It was a poignant and breathtaking tale of a mythical creature - the water horse ' Caruso' and his secret friendship with Angus, the boy who discovered Caruso and brought him up from an egg. This lovely tale is set during the second world war and is even more emotional because of the sideline events which are also happening. A guaranteed heart churner, this is a lovely film for everyone.

A brilliantly simple plot, which pokes fun at critics and restaurants, contains some neat little scenes, and challenges perceptions for all.
You know the plot - Remy the rat, blessed with a fine pallete, has dreams of becoming a chef, but being a rat, the bane of kitchens everywhere, he's got a problem. His family disapprove too, but when disaster comes to their lair, Remy finds himself washed away to Paris and chances on a restarant kitchen. Through various adventures, he ends up serving a dish of Ratatouille to a feared critic, wins him over, and with the help of his friends (a chef and a waiter), is finally the toast of Paris. Not that the humans know that bit, of course.
Some of the dialogue is hard, as the french accents get overcooked (sic) a bit, and you cringe ... Read More:

Each time I have seen a film from Pixar Studio, I have been impressed not only with its animation, but excellent plot too. This time, however, Pixar Studio has rendered a true cinematic animation masterpiece, one which should be recognized as memorable as the great Walt Disney films of the 1930s and 1940s. A masterpiece which ought to appeal to kids of all ages. In "Wall - E" Pixar has a spellbinding example - maybe the first - of a romantic science fiction thriller that lacks a dull moment, even though much of the film lacks substantial dialogue. So who cares whether the robot Wall - E can speak fluent English; audiences will recognize him as an admirable and lovable creature, whose very actions remind me at least of Charlie Chaplin's dull-witted tramp (Indeed, I wouldn't be surprised at all if this was ...
