This is an excellent product. I got this when my little girl was a few months old, but unlike some of the other reviewers' children, my girl wasn't glued to the set. Don't get me wrong, she was interested but not fascinated. At 17 months now in September '07 I have started to put it back on for her and she is now transfixed by it. I was amazed by how quickly she was picking up on things, shouting "Choo" when the train comes on (as it often does) and how excited she gets when the furry animals come on.

I have just ordered the box set as I wanted the baby shakespeare for her and the box set was a bargain compared to getting them all individually.

I found this DVD really easy to use and I began doing it every morning, within 1 month my body had completely changed shape. I still have weight to lose but feel so much more energetic and miss it if I don't do some form of stretching during the day! It really helps your shoulders after feeding and carrying the baby.

I suffered with post-natal depression with my first child and found that the focus used on this DVD helped me stay very positive and in control after the birth of this child! I would strongly recommend this DVD to anyone who hates exercise or is too busy/tired, its well worth it! I have been doing it for 6 months now. (It also improves your sex life!!)

Prenatal Yoga [2005]

I wasn't convinced I'd enjoy yoga as I'm a road cyclist and triathlete so if it doesn't hurt, then it's not worth doing. But I really enjoy this work out. I try and do it every few days and feel great afterwards - really stretched out. The time goes very quickly as each exercise moves quickly into the next.

My 8 month old baby has just started to take an interest in the t.v. and is mesmerised by Bear in the Big Blue House, although she gets bored after the first 3 minutes. With Baby Einstein she is completely amazed for at least 15minutes! Her responses to the animals are hilarious and keeps us all entertained. She now knows to look to the t.v for the 'dog'. I have this on rent from Amazon but I will definately be buying it.

This is the second Baby Einstein DVD I've purchased and my 7 month old daughter loves it. It has fantastic music and is high energy in some parts and very calm in others. Each colour is introduced where several images highlighting the colour are shown with music and sound effects. The little puppets are really entertaining. Vincent van Goat 'paints' pictures at the end of every colour sequence. To an adult, it might not look like it's well produced but my daughter finds this DVD really entertaining.

The Happiest Baby On The Block [2005]

This DVD should be given to any parents as they leave the hospital. You have to be diligent and follow all the 5s (just swaddling won't do it). But the rewards are a happy baby and restful parents. I could not reccomend it more.

Baby Beethoven takes the original concept devloped in Baby Mozart to a new high. OK, one might argue that the concept involves marketing of different brands and types of toys, but that should not detract from the concept that young ones tend to love these DVDs.

The "subtitles" indicating the different symphonies are very helpful, with the dog/duck chase in the Eroica Symphony particularly appealing to our young son. There is perhaps nothing to beat "Wellington's Victory" with the puppetry being excellent.

What a great finale with the 9th, and the young children "playing at" playing their respective toy instruments.

As is usual with Baby Einstein DVDs, one sometimes thinks that perhaps they are overpriced for the 25 ... Read More:

I found this DVD very disheartening. The overall impression it gave me was that breastfeeding was a hard and painful thing to do,and so it was all right if I failed, or only partially breastfed.
Luckily,I found lots of posative support and this did not turn out to be the case. I would recommend Rebecca Glovers "Follow me mum" as being more helpful and encouraging.

Excellent yoga dvd, it's got the right amount of strengthening and stretching, plus the pace isn't too fast for post-natal tired bodies! Well shot and differnt difficulty ratings depending on how you're feeling. Also, split into parts so if you can't face the whole think at least you can do something. Got my core strenght back after a c-section, so much appreciated! Plus really good baby massage section.
