One star and five star reviews for this film should be laughed at, as you will many great moments in the first half of this film.

At some point the laughs had to run out, there is only so much script in an alcoholic super hero.

When that happens and the plot twist occurs, which many will see coming, you've just got to enjoy looking at the tunning Charlize Theron and patiently await the end of the film.

I bought this film from Amazon and watched it full 1080p and i have to say, this was the best movie experience i have ever had, and the best movie i have watched i ages!

The graphics and story from start to finish was inspiring! i urge anyone considering this and most defiantly via blu-ray, go straight out and get it, you will not be disappointed!

The graphics and story from start to finish was inspiring! i urge anyone considering this and most defiantly via blu-ray, go straight out and get it, you will not be disappointed!

I'll be honest here: I thought Shaun of the Dead was OKAY. Not amazing, definitely worth 4 stars, but not as stratospherically brilliant as everyone made it out to be (in my opinion!).
With Hot Fuzz, however, the tables turned. I came to this film with average expectations, expecting a decent-ish cop comedy. What I got blew me away.
The film felt bigger, smarter, faster...and funnier. Watching it first time around was good enough, and full of laughs (It's hard to say what kind of comedy style it is. Most would say black comedy, but there's a bit of everything here, especially tongue-in-cheek).

I dont know what you are all talking about. I loved this film!! I went with hubby and we both really enjoyed it! If you liked Sahara (which I also loved) you will like Fools Gold. Its a not a film to be taken seriously mind you, it gets a bit far fetched but its not one that you are meant to take too seriously!

I've waited for years for this film to come out on DVD and now that I've bought it can happily say it was worth the wait in gold! it is an airborne version of the Wacky Races and must have surely inspired this entire genre.

The film is packed with character actors from 50s and 60s including inimitable and much missed greats such as Terry Thomas, Robert Morley, Eric Sykes, Benny Hill and Gert Frobe. They all clearly had fun making it which means there are plenty of laughs.

A strange film. A "Midle Age" story of knights, love, chivalry and honour. With a rock soundtrack and a Tournaments' League in tennis like style. A good cast, good action scenes. A film for children or teenagers? Perhaps. But if you search 2 hours of relax .....

Clever (though not flawless) and fun movie, but waaay to confusing. people that say otherwise LIE!!
f.ex Why did the litle sis steal big.sis creditcard and stuff ? I thought she had enough money now that she was Dexters daughter.
why, when Jr. mentioned no undies ,and zoom!!? Straight to the looney-bin ?
+ funny moment ,Harmony spots bad guys in a car; H;Perry, thats them! P;who's them? H;12o'clock! you said it's a black guy and a white guy, right? -ARGH.. Are black and white guys so rarely seen in a car together in L.A that.. oh yeah.
Highly unlikely.
+ Another ++ things I didnt get! I wont bother watching it a 3rd time to try and understand it because I CLEARLY wont!
