i have found series three of Doctor who to be very refreshing...although there are a few duds this year it doesn't harm the show but makes the better episodes shine.
Martha Jones exceeded my expectations,as i thought that she was going to be another Rose Tyler she turned out to be a great companion and very three dimensional although lacking Roses charismatic persona she brings something new to the table, and her character is explored with depth.
eppy reviews-
the runaway bride-4/5-a very good christmas special...Catherine Tate was a breath of fresh air and was extremely entertaining tpo watch(glad she was the main companion in series 4)the Racnoss is a great creation and reminds me of the alien queen from the Alien franchise.

Doctor Who series 4 volume 2 contains four episodes. I know alot of people have given Catherine Tate (very unfair) stick, I think she is great as Donna Noble in Doctor Who and has an excellent on screen chemistry with David Tennant.
The first story is the two parter The Sontaran Stratagem / The Poison Sky which sees the return of the Sontarans (who appeared in the classic stories The Time Warrior, The Sontaran Experiment, The Invasion Of Time and The Two Doctors). Also making a very welcome return is Martha Jones superbly played by Freema Agyeman. This story moves at a cracking pace with UNIT playing a major part. It's just like the good old days in the Jon Pertwee era.
Next up is the much hyped Doctor's Daughter. I have to say that ... Read More:

Not since Bonnie Langford have people feared the return of another red-headed companion... I know a lot of people were less than pleased to hear that Catherine Tate was to be brought back for this series, but I personally enjoyed her portrayal of Donna (even if I didn't love everything about her Christmas special episode).
The character needed depth, and she got it. Left feeling disillusioned since The Runaway Bride she manages to find The Doctor and pretty much invite herself into the TARDIS - and I'm glad she did. Since Doctor Who was re-launched it has managed to capture some brilliant moments. With Catherine Tate in the series, you always knew the writers would tap into her comedy credentials, and the scene from the first episode where Donna and the Doctor ... Read More:

This film is very enjoyable!
I would say this is the best Disney film made so far because it has a really good storyline, which is: Mowgli a little baby in a basket was found by a panther called Bagheera, who gave this man cub (as the animals call it) to the wolf pack to raise.
Years go by and the man cub, Mowgli had gotten so used to the jungle. Bagheera the panther realised that one day he had to take him to the man village.
When Bagheera tries to take Mowgli to the man village, Mowgli runs away and meets a friendly, whacky bear called Baloo.
After meeting Baloo, Mowlgi and the bear start to become friends and now Mowgli wants to live with him in the jungle.
Baloo and Mowgli sing a nice happy song about the 'Bear Necessities' which you might have heard ... Read More:

series 1 started off everything(makes sense)but seriously if it weren't for the success of this series then the show wouldn't have survived...thanks to the amazing writers and crew behind it and some fab actors.
eppy guide-
Rose-4/5-the start...and what a great start it is too...Billie Piper CAN act as the great Rose Tyler and the Autons are very creepy.
The end of the world-4/5-very good all round episode tht boasts some amazing visuals.
the unquiet dead-4/5-very scary episode with some terrifying zombies...and the doctor meets Charles Dickens.
Aliens of London-2/5-a decent episode but not fantastical...contains the infamous big ben crash scene...but not much else.
World War Three-2.5/5-slightly better but the Slitheen aren't the greatest looking aliens i have ... Read More:

Well, it was fantastic seeing K9 for the first time again! Actually K9 Mark I, he remains with Leela at the end of The Invasion of Time. Are we keeping track? There will be a quiz in time to come!!
Anyway, down to the fault on the disc. The episode should end with the Nucleus re-materialising to normal size. Unfortunately, the scene in which the Doctor & Leela banish him from the Doctor's mind appears immediately after the previously mentioned scene!
End of the world, I think not!! Live with it, though I have been sent a replacement, which I am yet to receive! God bless the postal service!!! & do hope that the scenes will appear in the correct order!! Fill you in later about that!! Buy when you can & enjoy. As for K9 & Company, K9 Mark III, that is, I am truly glad it was Sarah ... Read More:

This movie is so iconic it is deeply ingrained in our culture. As a little girl, and as an adult too, we all want a magical pair of "Dorothy" shoes. The movie's message is very simple; there's no place like home. The magical world of Oz is in technicolor whereas the scenes in Kansas are in black and white. This helps to show how enticing Oz is. The characters are pretty damn good, they don't make em like that anymore. All of the characters go through a personal journey in the film; to get home, to become brave, to get a heart. The plot is as delightful as the characters and the setting, with a dash of humour added in; a must see for young and old, even my quite sensitive 6yr old daughter can handle the scarier bits. The replay value is immeasurable, I have seen the movie so many times and will watch it many ... Read More:

Every so often; and it isn't nowadays that frequent, 'cause the industry is in decline, and the mould on the window frames so bad you know they are never going to fix it, in a room far below ground and away from the public, sits a cabal of evil record executives. They have the kinds of faces you normally associate with sharks with borderline personality disorders who have never spared even one orphan middle aged sea captain, and there they sit, the dust gathering on their Saville Row lapels.
One of them moves slowly; and speaks in a gravely, cracked voice.
"Let's have another Grease revival"
The other execs cackle, their emaciated bodies heaving with satisfaction and the anticipation of yet more easy prey.
And so it is. What is it now? DVDs? Blue Ray? Ultra high definition ... Read More:

This film was exciting when I saw it in 1956 in Holland, and it is just as exciting now. How can one miss with the superb talent of Michael Redgrave, the stirring music of Eric Coates, and a gripping yarn that happens to be true? Much of the fascination of this film stems from its depiction of Barnes Wallis's process of planning and perfecting the bouncing bomb, and persuading Whitehall to go along with his eccentric idea. Equally interesting are the various makeshift devices, such as the range-finding lights and the home-made bombsight.
"The Dam Busters" tells the story of ingenuity and courage during wartime. In the wrong hands, such a topic might be heavy handed, but one of the things that British filmmakers of the 1950s did so well was to deliver their patriotic messages with a touch of wry humor mixed with ... Read More:
