imagine yourself in this place - and just think of how everybody belongs to a race or creed and just think of the interactions that take place - free food and bet you they have a free basic living set up as well - and the only thing you had to do - was to live?
makes you think you don't want to be born for a couple of hundred of years - out of all the charecters sisko's son is the most i admire/dream/.... - he just persofies how life should be

So funny, I had to pause the DVD because I was laughing so hard, and I didn't want to miss a single second.
It's true what they say at the end of Family Guy Blue Harvest, Robot Chicken: Star Wars is far better and funnier Star Wars spoof. Standout sketches for me were Admiral Ackbar's cereal advert ("It's a trap!"), the 'true story' behind the arm-severing at the Tattoine bar, and the final show piece 'Empire on Ice'. A must for all Star Wars and cutting-edge animation fans.

With the majority of the Goa'uld defeated during the previous season this ninth season sees the rise of a new threat to the galaxy in the form of the godlike Ori. This season also sees changes to the main cast with Richard Dean Anderson leaving the main cast and new faces in the shape of Ben Bowder, Claudia Black (both from the excellent Farscape) and Lexa Doig (from Andromeda) joining the show on a regular or semi-regular basis. This change in cast could have been quite terrible but thankfully Ben Bowder more than fills Anderson's shoes as Lt. Col. Mitchell, the new leader of SG-1, and all the other new additions to the cast also fit in very well.
The storyline of this season is good, with the defeat of the Goa'uld last season it ... Read More:

These 3 episodes are far and away the best of series four. Great writing and terrific performances.
'Silence in the Library/ Forest of the Dead' is probably the best two-parter yet. It's a tense, chilling story with twists and turns that keeps delivering surprises all the way to the end.
And, for those of us who find Catherine Tate more irritating than a bag of Adipose, there's the pleasure of a virtually Donna-free episode in the form of the excellent 'Midnight'. After the Doctor leaves Donna stuffing her face with chocolates a couple of minutes into the show, she's not seen again until the very end. Bliss!

Star Trek: The Next Generation Season 1 was both good and bad. The pivital episode obviously would be the first "Encounter at Farpoint" which was a two-part episode when we met Q for the first time and get to be introduced to all the TNG Characters who will go on to get so much better later in the series.
Basically if you are a big fan of the show then you'd just couldn't not buy this box-set. Although the show get's much better, this first season still has its memorable moments.
Highlights of Season One of Star Trek: The Next Generation:
Encounter at Farpoint - Q puts humaninity on trial.
Datalore - Data discovers that he has a brother named Lore.
The Big Goodbye - The Holodeck puts the crew in danger.

Nothing polarises people like Star Wars. For many of us, it was a fundamental part of growing up. We watched the films, we fell in love with the universe of Star Wars, we bought the toys. Star Wars is, in many ways, part of our childhood. And being so universally loved makes it difficult to take a step back and review it objectively. Star Wars is either something you love, or don't care about, and there's little middle ground.
So how does one review something that means so much to you dispassionately? With difficulty. Difficult to see, dispassionately this is.
So what are these films? They're not the same way you remember them.
This is classic film-making : the type of film-making that changed the shape of films and filmgoing. Despite ... Read More:

So where do i begin?
First things first; the movie itself is something remarkable and shows one of will smith's greatest and probably best performance he's done. From my opinion, if it weren't for him the movie would of probably been a bit rubbish.
When i first saw the film; i must admit, i didn't think much of it but when i watched it again, i was completely blown away. The way they captured the loneliness and sadness of Robert Neville's life is just incredible. When buying the film, just don't expect much of a blockbuster because this is not. Look at the film as how it was supposed to be... ...a one man show.
Now your probably wondering why i only gave it four stars. This is simply because the DVD was a big huge let down for me and also for fans of the film. ... Read More:

i simply loved deep space nine, though i don't care for the episodes where they overuse the holodeck or suddenly time travel the main story arc and the characters such as kira, odo, quark are some of the best written sci-fi i've seen, as entertaining as babylon 5 or the new battlestar galactica show
if you like any of those you'll love deep space nine...you don't have to be a trekkie to like it at all [i'm no fan fan star trek te next generation for exampe]
an all deep space nine is THE BEST star trek based show to date in my opinion.

As mentioned above, the show rocks. Edward James Olmos again excelled as Adama. And so did Michelle Forbes as Admiral Cain. But even though the show is delivered via DVD, I could'nt help thinking it looks and feel as if I'm watching VCD. So my rating is based on the show(content) alone and not on the video quality(DVD).
