Mick Brown is a realistic angler and it is this side of his personality that shines through in this pike fishing journey. Not everyone is going to throw the line at the water and pull out a pike first time and Mick knows that. With his helpful advice and humerous anecdotes he makes the mighty pike accessible for all. I have not done much fishing in my time but Mick makes you want to grab a rod and go out in all weathers to catch this elusive beast of the British waters! And with Micks common sense advice you may even land a beastie or two! A lot of fishing DVDs are vehicles for the presenters, Mick prefers to let the fishing show through which is what is often lacking. The Lions - Up Close And Personal [2001]

I was really delighted how quickly this DVD arrived at my home, after barely 36 hours after order. I was really looking forward to watching some high level rugby tied in with a behind the scenes coverage of the Lions tour of 2001.

This first review on this site, claims, that the DVD includes extended highlights from all 3 tests. Well this person must have a different copy to the version i received. If i had to guess, i would rekon you get around 25 minutes of actual rugby footage from a DVD lasting 3 hours.

The warm up games, v the likes of, NSW, ACT Brumbies, Western Australia are almost covered in the same length (rugby coverage) as the actual test matches.

Having just taken up mixed martial arts for mainly health issues, this DVD does give a good application to make your foes life hell with the pressure points in the arm. Having used them on my own brother, who learned Karate but didn`t know about 3/4 of the techniques. They do hurt for anyone who might think of using them a test subject, my arms are covered in brusies. Once you get the hang of it, it almost becomes 2nd nature. Only downside is that it doesn`t cover anything above the triceps/biceps into the shoulder region, other than that it`s a 5+++

The Royal Rumble is always a PPV to look forawrd to, and this year in particulary was one to watch. In front of a sold out crowd in the World's Most Famous arena - Madison Square Garden, we had 2 WWE World Title matches on the line, a chance to see someone try and make history at Wrestlemania 24, a PPV return since Judgment Day 2006 for JBL, and a Career in jeapordy. This is the 2008 Royal Rumble.

I think that they should have added the Fourth & Fifth Tests on a second DVD, and perhaps they should release the whole series on a three disc boxset. For that you get Ian Botham taking five wickets for one run in twenty-eight balls, then his century at Manchester where he had the temerity to hook Dennis Lillee not only once but twice, considering that Dennis Lillee had a very successful series and year (39 wickets in the series, 85 wickets overall in the year. Only Shane Warne has bettered that.)
