This is without doubt the worst rugby video I have ever seen. The rugby content is minimal, the interviews are so dull you will need to take an entire pack of proplus to get through and generally a shockingly bad DVD. Stay away!

For those of us not around to see most of these games when they were played, the kind of footage on this DVD is priceless. Although not flawless, there is enough here to keep any ardent football fan happy. There is plenty of coverage of the 70s and 80s however it is the 60s footage that makes this really worthwhile. Perhaps a little too much emphasis on the goals which means you don't always get an overall feel for the individual matches, but this is a minor complaint, and it is the goals that most people remember and want to see. Not sure how long this DVD will be around, but grab it while you can.

I have bought the 20 pack with the 10 pack at a saving
but the dvds in the 10 pack are the same as in the 20 pack
the description is misleading as they only mention a few titles out of each pack obviously omitting the duplicated ones. so what you think is a bargain is not

I REMEMBER WATCHING THIS ABOUT TEN YEARS AGO AND THOROUGHLY REMEMBER WHAT A SHOCKING FILM THIS WAS. IT HAS SUCH SHOCKING SCENES AND THE ACTING FROM ALL CHARACTERS COULDNT BE BETTER. IT IS ABOUT FIVE BEAUTIFUL WOMEN WHO BELONG TO THE LUCIANO FAMILY AND OVER GREED AND PRIDE THEIR LOVED ONED ARE BRUTALLY MURDERED BY OPPOSING GROUPS WHO WANT THEIR ASSETS. SOME SCENES ARE TERRIFYING AND HARD TO WATCH SO BEWARE. IT IS A SAD MOVIE WITH AN INTACT STORYLINE ALL THROUGHOUT AND IM SURE YOU WOULD ENJOY IT AS A FAMILY AND IF YOURE INTO CRIME DRAMA.

The best original footage, the best original crowd sound (no dubbing as occurs too many times on football compilations) the best original commentary and thus the best atmosphere of the games.

Much of the glorious material is only viewable on this DVD as the BBC clearly had the best coverage it seems of any TV stations of the times.

This is Motty's babe and he does a lovely job.

Enjoy some of the fascinating friendlies including John Barnes doing a Pelé in the Maracana.

Weep at the way in which Portugal kicked Pelé out of 1966, a most unfair recompense for his generally excellent Goodison exhibition.

This is Hilarious. It's a cross between a comedy show with Lovejoy & the best footie clips. Some of these type of DVD's can just be a bunch of clips which have all been seen before. This is totally different. It's more like a Tim Lovejoy Soccer AM comedy show & even if you're not a fan of Tim's, the clips are refreshingly new (as well as some old classics, given a different twist by Lovejoys usual humour). Highly Recommended, great gift or just to watch & have a laugh on your own. Nice way to support a great charity as well. A fiver well spent.
