Season 8 is another enjoyable run of witty and intelligent humour from Dr. Frasier Crane and friends. This is the season when after all the near misses Niles and Daphne finally get together.
The season started strongly by continuing immediately from where Daphne leaves husband-to-be Donny at the altar, to be with Niles. However Frasier is still single and searching for his true soul-mate. The middle of the series was relatively weak as it required the design of stories to accommodate Jane Leeves' (Daphne) real-life pregnancy. However, things got good again by the end of the season.
The best episodes were:
'And the Dish Ran Away with the Spoon' (in 2 parts) - what happens next after Daphne and Niles leave Donnie ... Read More:

A sort of mongrel of Rab C Nesbitt and Last of the Summer Wine, this unspectacular, unstarry sit-com gets better with every episode. It is very Glaswegian, from the little I know of the town, and is a fair bit subtler than Rab C Nesbitt, another show I loved for its self effacing satire. As yet, Still Game hasn't quite got me raving about it as much the former sit-com did with its no holds barred depiction of 'Glasgow characters' but it is getting there. I find some of the satire brilliant, and the quietly penned characters are spot on. It doesn't yell at you like RCN did, it sort of niggles away at you bit by bit, but many of those bits, I am now finding are little gems. This is a cracking good Scottish satirical sit-com and I hope it keeps going ... Read More:

This is my favourite season of One Tree Hill for many reasons;
1. So many events critical to the storyline of the programme happen in this series.
2. A few new characters are introduced, and we get to know the existing ones even better.
3. This show is amazing!
I really loved watching this series on DVD, and would definitely recommend it. There are six discs of episodes plus deleted scenes on every disc.
The storyline for this series is extremely good; it kept me guessing and some parts definitely surprised me, but in a good way.
I have been watching the fifth series of One Tree Hill on E4 for about 2months now, and though series 4 is still my favourite, I think that the fifth one will turn out to be great, too.

Bad acting, dull nonsense of a script, poorly paced and directed.
Anyone giving this pathetic excuse for a tv programme 5 stars must have a 1 star life.
Stop sitting indoors watching hour upon hour of this patronising rubbish and find some friends instead.
Preferably ones who don't like this bunk.

This show is totally terrific. Based around supernatural powers - this show really does it very well. With one human with supernatural powers wanting more supernatural powers, its up to other humans with supernatural powers to stop this evil force and save the world from destruction.
The story sounds like a RPG fantasy game or a story pulled from the Marvels Comics Universe, but honestly, the show is simply amazing and has so many twists and turns along the way to make you coming back for more. The special effects just keeps you wondering how these effects were put together - especially the power to freeze time, even during an explosion.
Heroes is such a wonderful show with such an amazing cast that makes the show that much amazing. Should ... Read More:

This is a super tale with some real strong acting. I have waited for some time for this to come out on DVD and have not been disappointed.
At times the truth has been changed a little -but that does not take away from a great film.

Season 1 got me hooked, Season 2 made me fall in love and Season 3 just made me giddy. If someone told me this show couldn't get better, I would be inclined to agree. At the end of Season 2, House was shot and he asked to be given Ketamine which would help fix his leg. Season 3 starts off with, what seems to be a completely new House, he's happy and he's walking without an aid and doing his job without Vicodin. This is cool, it shows us just how much the leg problems have affected House and his personality. It doesn't last, as within a few episodes he's back to using the Cane and popping pills every hour.
During mid season House also gains himself a Vogler-esque type enemy, only this time it's a cop, and it lands House in some serious trouble. He's constantly ... Read More:

Back in 2008, with the transmission of Battlestar Galactica's fourth season delayed and its full run interrupted by a nine-month-long break due to the Writer's Strike, the Sci-Fi Channel saw fit to deliver us an extra treat, namely a TV movie delving deeper into the show's backstory.
Razor takes place at the end of the second season, shortly after the events of the episode The Captain's Hand. Lee Adama is now commander of the battlestar Pegasus, but as an outsider he finds himself not entirely trusted by his new crew. Lee decides to appoint a former favourite of Admiral Cain's, Lt. Kendra Shaw, to the position of XO, in an attempt to 'build bridges' with his new subordinates. Interestingly, the plot doesn't dwell on this idea. We know the fate of the Pegasus and Lee's ... I absolutely loved this series ! I definately think each series has got better than the previous and this one is no exception. Some real classic moments and as HBO have not commissioned another series i think it was a great point to end.
