This mouse paired easily with my iMac, without having to use the software included. It tracks very well, and fits nicely into my hand. Matches perfectly with Mac and keyboard too!

I initially thought that the hype surrounding a laser mouse was just that - hype. But it's not until you use the mouse that you realise just how smooth and intuitive it is. I have awarded this product 5 stars based solely on it's performance as a basic mouse, you will not get better control. The other features it boasts are a bit clunky, the left / right scroll button clicks, and the thumb click option are not half as smooth as the mouse operation itsself.

This is a good device. Since the ball on it is moved, and not the unit itself the TrackMan is a good space saver. For me personally, I would have preferred it to be slightly larger and have a teensy bit "chunkier" feel. But objectively speaking, the feel and build quality are fine.

The biggest thing is the functionality and use. The specifications are not extraordinary and you cannot program it with a huge ammount of options other than some choice as to what the wheel button can do.

I have seen serveral comments about the TrackMan and how it's great for general computer use, but not so hot for gaming. POPPYCOCK! I spend 2-4 hours a day gaming and/or using the internet. And when I game, I play many different types ... Read More:

OK, it looks great but what is important in a mouse is that the pointer tracks predictably and the buttons work when you click them.

The pointer does not track predictably. Sometimes it is slow, other times it stops. This could be the surface I am using it on, but I haven't had a similar problem with other mice.

The buttons, however, are much worse. Sometimes they work, other times they don't. Sometimes you have to click half a dozen times to get the thing to work. Another problem is that a single click seems to 'store up' lots of clicks and many click commands end up being sent even though you have clicked once.

Fine if it is going to stay on a desk, but BEWARE if it will be used with a laptop or at an armchair! The trackball is not held in place and drops out very easily. So unless you fancy crawling under the sofa every five minutes, look elsewhere for your trackball mouse!

The mouse is comfortable and the extra buttons provide easily set up short cuts. It works fine with my Mac. However, the build quality is not great - the sideways push buttons on the wheel gave up within a month and the base gets roughened in no time, meaning it tends to stick. Gone back for replacement.

I bought the new edition of the G5 because i was looking to replace my dell optical mouse, which wasn't exactly a pleasure to use, the G5 on the other hand is bliss. Performance-wise the tracking and accuracy are both superb. The build quality feels solid and its not an ugly old girl either. The only problems i have witnessed so far is the middle mouse button, which takes some getting used to due to the sensitivity of the scroll right/left buttons, and the weight cartridge. I inserted my weight cartridge without any weights in just to see how it worked and unfortunately its now stuck! Luckily the standard weight doesn't feel too light to me at all. I should also mention the software, its very easy to install and run and uses very little system resources.

Labtec optical glow mini mouse

Good product does everything it says on the box and has a nive finish and tactility.

I dis however get a surprise when it started changing colours I thought it just glowed red. unobtrusive though and you can turn the colour off.
