I've had this minidisc recorder for 3 months now and I tell you this thing's an angel when it come's to sound quality! If you listen to this thing, you're listening to cd! You won't tell the difference. It's even got digital imput facility when you wanna record your favourite cd. If you're looking to buy 1, get this 1 and get it on this website. This product looks like a good one because of its features such as 320 minutes of playback using ATRAC3 compression,Playback MD with MDLP & GROUP function,ATRAC DSP type-R,G-Protection Shock Protection,Group mode support,Digital sound system presets,Operates from 1 AA battery (Not included). The buttons are easy to press by the look of it and its quite good value for money but the downside is that you have to wait for some time before getting it and that might be next week or even before that so if your a first time buyer it is good! Its a nice shape you get the headphones with it.

I bought this product some months ago to enable me to listen to my own mix of music while out and about, and I found this was more than just another Walkman! I found it compatible with SonicStage which I had on my computer, but the real attraction was that I could record in Long Play, which gave me 2 hours and 40 minutes non-stop on 1 disc. By simply connecting 2 CD players into a mixer, then connecting via the line-in on the Walkman, I can play my choice of tracks, back to back with no gaps, for 160 minutes with no audible loss of digital quality, then take it out with me and listen to my own mixes on the bus. I was very impressed when I first bought this MiniDisc player, as it's AIWA logo'd, I presumed it may not be the best of the bunch, but it is very cheap so I bought it.

I was impressed when I first got my songs onto the player, after fiddling around with the software for about 10-20 minutes. The player is good and the battery lasts for hours upon hours even at full volume, the only gripe, as with nearly all portable players of any kind is the ear phones, which are of poor quality, I use a different pair.

All in all, a good purchase.

Its the first minidisc i have owned and i think its great. Recording is simple and the sound quality is great even when you do analouge recording, and the feature in which you can fit 4 albums on one disc and you dont really loose sound quality much. I highly recomend this i think its a investment for music fans.

stylish, compact and ultra portable, i think this is a definite buy. you are able to download music from the internet or from cds (via hi-fi and computer), and the size and portability is amazing, but with only 14 hours of battery life, it takes a lot of charging.
