Yes, it's great that it turns on automatically when it detects motion but why oh why could Philips not gone the extra yard and made it disable itself when it's not dark??? It comes on all day long regardless of the ambient light and wastes the batteries!

Great buy.firstly upon delivery my only moan is that the on/off button was loose in the box,unsure if it was faulty.we just clicked it back in.clips tightly and is very adjustable,can be used for numerous jobs as also reading and my computer review,

We bought this for our 2 year old son as soon as we moved him from a cot into a bed and he decided he would get up as soon as it was light! Another parent recommended the Bunny Clock and for us it works. Although our son will still wake before the alarm, he understands that if Bunny's still sleeping, he should be too!

The alarm "hand" is not particularly accurate and the whole thing feels a bit unsophisticated, but, we don't care - it has meant we get on average an extra hour sleep per night and that's worth much more than a more fancy clock!!!

Don't expect to want to showcase this clock - but you might just love it for giving you the gift of sleep!!

I received the stand 2 days after ordering so was very happy with the speedy delivery. I ordered this specific stand as it is quite small and perfect for tight corners, plus it accommodates my 32" LCD TV perfectly. The assembly couldn't have been easier. No tools required whatsoever - just your hands. Took me less than 10 minutes once unpacked. Am very happy with this product and the service of the seller.

NAF NAF - LYS v2 "Sunrise" Lamp Radio Alarm Clock in silver

I was a bit wary of buying this product as it's so much cheaper than others of its kind. However it's easy to use (clear instructions and simple to set the clock etc), does the job it's supposed to, and has a nice range of natural noises (waves, birds, cicadas) as well as the option of the radio to wake up to. It doesn't look cheap and the buttons are quite sturdy and click satisfyingly. The clock display is easy to see in the dark without being overpowering / too bright.

The only reservations I have are that it's quite big (check the dimensions before buying), and if you're in the uk you'll need to buy a europe to uk adaptor plug as well (it may say this somewhere in the description but if so i missed it).

We owned a Lumie body clock for 4 years which has since died. I remember when I first received the Lumie device I was distinctly unimpressed with the build quality of the Lumie compared to the price I had to pay. In fact early on it overheated so badly when a pillow got too close that the bulb cover discoloured and all but melted through! That was so nearly a fire......
Why do so many companies seem to associate the "medical" benefits attributed to such devices with a licence to under design and overprice them...!

Not so with the LYS v2 though. It has all features of the "medical" version and more in some cases. It is stylish, built well, the bulb is high up so less chance of "pillow smother", it functions simply and effectively ... Read More:

Having never owned a projection clock before, I was unsure as to what to expect. I needn't have been worried. The clock is compact so doesn't take up a lot of room on my bedside table. The display can be lit by the touch of a button but the projection feature means this is hardly necessary. The alarm is easy to set and the volume is adequate to wake me up. The date and temperature feature were not a requirement of mine but a useful bonus.
