I owned a previous pair of similar earphones- gave them to my sister to use since I wasn't using them- they came back with one earphone dead. Great, cheers sis. So I ordered these for my new Nano. Just something to replace the Sonys, which are a complete and utter pain with their ridiculous cord sizing!

Wow. Amazing. The bass is actually intense, better than the Sonys, a very full, dynamic sound (with the equalizer off!) Even the earbuds are of a better quality than the par I owned previously. My only criticisms would be there isn't a whole lot of mid-range and they are a bit over packaged (but hey what isn't these days).

For this price you cannot go wrong for amazing,private listening with your iPod.

I bought these as they were the only 2.0 in this price range. Within minutes of using them I discovered a high pitched whining coming from the left speaker, which was particularly noticable at low volumes. I googled about and disovered many people had had this problem. I thought I would give them a second chance, so I asked for a replacement set. Amazon provided this quickly, but they suffered from exactly the same problem! Very disappointing. I have now returned both sets for refund and gone for the superior but more expensive Bose companion 2.

Creative EP510 Earphones - White

I bought the Creative EP510 earhook earphones to use with my Zen because the phones that came in the Zen pack, although good, kept falling out.
Having used many earphone types I have very surprised at how good the EP510's are. The frequency response for such a small earpiece is excellent,no tinny hiss and good bass reproduction, much better than earphones costing twice as much. I originaly bought these as 'cheapies' just to see if the earhook style was comfortable before buying a better pair. Having found that the fit suited me I bought some more expensive earphones, Philips SH8000/00's - a bad move. The sound produced by the Creative 510's is so much better that I will continue to use them. They may not be the best for convenience or style but they ... Read More:

I own an 80GB i-pod classic and purchased these headphones as a replacement and on first usage i could tell that they were a bargain as the sound quality was great... but i noticed that my i-pod kept randomly pausing itself like it automatically does when you pull your headphones out...

at first it was a minor inconvenience but now it is just a massive annoyance as, if my ipod moves in my pocket it will pause now (even when on hold) and I'm just having to "put up" with the problem as there is no way to fix it

Creative Labs HN700 Headphones

In mid December I wrote a very negative report on the HN-700, based on my initial experience. Amazon only allows one review per writer so when subsequent testing proved to be more positive I was compelled to delete the first review and replace it with this one. Actually I rate these 3.5-3.75 stars

The HN700's appear to be well made and well designed, with some exceptions. First the pros: Noise canceling is very good for sounds like road,engine or fan/motor noise. Voices are also muted, but still audible when the volume is turned down or off. Wanted white earphones to use with white Zen Stone (like to be colour co-ordinated). Find it handy to have neck strap, then player isn't as likely to pull buds out of ears. These had received good reviews (except the 'tinny' one), but I realise that you have to use the right size of ear bud to get the best from them. I tried the small to start with, but the sound wasn't very good. Changed to medium and brilliant, I could hear bits of background music I'd never noticed before, loads of bass and very clear. I'm really pleased with them and thinking of ordering a black pair (to go with my black Zen Stone, obviously!!).

Creative Aurvana In-Ear Earphones

I have owned the creative headphones for a little over 6 months now;
Positive points:
Good sound
Good Isolation
Nice Design
Good selection of comfortable plugs

Negative points
Cable noise - there is a great deal of interferance when wearing the headphones under clothing as the wire knocks against the material
Build Quality - although at first glance the headphones look to be a good quality, my headphones developed an annoying crackle fairly quickly and have now broken beond use after just over 6 months. This is most likely due to not keeping them in the case but I can see the problem developing after time even if the case is utilised for storage and transport.
