I was poised to buy this card but when I got to the checkout, I saw that the postage charge was £2 for 1 card. Adding 1 more card added another £2 to the final bill. It's a real shame because I have no doubt that the cards themselves are very good value.
So Amazon, when are you going to stop traders ripping off buyers with ridiculous postage charges. Also, quite 'mysteriously', the final total is not shown until after adding payment details with just one more button to press to confirm the purchase. How very convenient and unfair, hiding the postage charges until the very end. I wonder how many customers have hit the last 'confirm transaction' button without noticing these 'hidden' charges.

I've had the 4 Gb san disk for a little over a year now-maybe 18months and lasted whilst i was travlling in and out of machines but i had the same as someone else where the black plastic section snapped apart but then i clipped it back together and it seemed fine.
since then it kept tkaing itself offline whithout warnign and the orange light going out. yesterday it took itself offline and i pulled it out to reload only to find the metal setcion still in the machine and all of my photos for the past six months, my website and my work lost. i'm mortificed, it's come straight off of the green elec board, so maybe i'll get my soldering iron out but failing that the USB stick i thought was amazing at the beginning has failed me. i came on here ... I just bought 2 of these little cards - and while it is without a doubt an exceptional product - it DOES NOT (as a previous reviewer said) come with any extras such as the card reader, pouch or CD software.

The problem with Hard drives is that their not all 100% reliable yet. You'd be an idiot to back up very important data only on one hard drive as there is always the possibility of failing. That's why I feel it's unfair to judge solely on the 1 star reviews of people who've lost all the data because they've stupidly put all their valuable data only on this hard drive. Like all Hard drives you have to be careful with it. Don't drop it or spill any liquid on it. Avoid traveling with the item and ideally try not to use it too regularly.
Anyway, I've currently have had this machine for three months now and filled it fully up. So far there's been no problems whatsoever. The data is still there. Other plus points include the nice sleek design of the ... Read More:

I dont normally review products very often but I am compelled to comment on this Card as I have just lost Shots on this card for the third time. the card has corrupted sectors, I use a Nikon D80, a modern camera which uses this media.
For the 1st time I wandered from Sandisk- attracted to the cheap price of this card, I have regretted it
Dont get me wrong ,its a great performer, certainly fast, but I simply cannot trust it anymore so I am going back to Sandisk and staying there.
Great price for a 2GB sd card. Use card to take pictures & video on hols and woks just fine, no problems to report, works fine in my card slot on pc also. Ecellent value for money, and speedy delivery.
I bought this item from Amazon via a different seller but for a similar price (£2.79) and I'm very happy with it. The item itself is a simple single slot device but has allowed me to access my new camera's SDHC card without draining the camera battery.
My existing card reader doesn't support SDHC so this little gem has made my life easier at a low cost which is something I'm very happy about. It works fine with my Sandisk 8GB SDHC card and I've also successfully tested it with a 64MB Integral SD card and the 32MB Canon MMC+ card that came with my camera. I'm using it succesfully on an iMac with USB 1 ports.
I can't comment on long term use but my initial thoughts are very favourable, especially for the price.

This flash drive is great value at £13 for 8GB, but surprisingly for a modern branded drive it is too slow for Windows Vista's ReadyBoost feature. If you have no need for that function then the drive works well, and is physically a neat design. Does have a pull off cap which would be easy to loose, however at present it would be hard to find such a high capacity drive for this amount or less.
