I just bought 2 of these little cards - and while it is without a doubt an exceptional product - it DOES NOT (as a previous reviewer said) come with any extras such as the card reader, pouch or CD software.

This product does exactly what it says on the tin.
The drive can be used with or without the encryption/synchronisation software. The software is easy to use and offers 128bit encryption of the backed up data. Thankfully, it is not bloated with un-necessary features and looks pretty much like MS Windows Explorer, giving you access to the backed up drives/folders as if you were accessing them on the master PC. It also will backup and give access to your outlook file system and calendar and to your favourite browser's bookmarks/favourites.
It truly is a plug and play solution for those who need to carry their sensitive (or not) data with them. So, if you are a teacher/lecturer and need to roam from one PC to another, ... Read More:

Overpriced and lacking in ink. Just bear in mind that most manufacturers won't repair or replace printers that have used third party inks. Not that that would stop me!

Having previously bought this item from other stores I bought this time from Amazon themselves as they were cheapest with the free delivery. I had no problems with receiving the item and it works fine, so I'm pleased with my purchase.
Canon cartridges aren't cheap, but then neither are any cartridges that are actually sold by the big brands such as Epson, HP, Lexmark etc. If you're looking for a cheap cartridge then you need to buy a 'compatible' type which basically means that it hasn't been made by the same firm as your printer. Personlly, I prefer to stick to the so called 'proper' brands but that's just down to personal preference.

I have to say that I ordered this with the colour cartridge on 25th June and had super saver delivery so didn't cost any extra and they arrived today. I can't fault 3 days delivery for no postage cost. The ink works fine and I know that I'm still covered by warranty for using manufacturers goods. I use reviews a lot to decide on what and where to purchase and just wanted to relate my experience which has been first class.

Canon inks are great and this Canon PGI-5BK is no exception. I'm very very pleased with the results and can foresee myself sticking with Canon printers and their inks. I have regrettably tried a set of compatible inks in the past which produced disgraceful print quality, where the colours ran and mixed with each other on paper. They also made a mess of my printer around the area where the cartridges sit in place. I had gone too far with penny pinching, and quickly went back to the Cannon original inks. It took many and I mean many executions of my printer's self maintenance cleaning software to get it back to its 'as manufacturer intended' state, even after I had changed the ink back to Canon originals.
I recently bought my Canon original ... Read More:

In Sep'07 I bought a multi pack thro' Amazon which was supplied by seller ext360. These were supplied in a jiffy bag with no outer packaging. Subequently two cartridges would not be accepted by my printer and appeared to be slightly different in appearance from the empty cartridges. As I was outside the 90 day warranty period neither Amazon or Epson were interested in my problem.
My advice to anyone not receiving the correct TO487 packaging is to reject the order & inform Amazon immediately.

Epson Stylus Photo RX685 All-in-One Printer, 6.3cm LCD, USB
Bought this printer to replace my previous canon printer because canon cartridges were too costly. The multipack inks work out cheaper, but are still expensive, Epson charge £45 for the full pack!needless to say i buy mine from other sources!
I have tried compatible cartridges but whilst i've had no problems with previous printers, the Epson doesn't seem to like them. I've had nothing but trouble with compatibles - the ink clogged the nozzles and everything printed out in shades of pink and blue (great if you like those colours)! At first, the printer recognised the cartridges and displayed ink levels correctly, but lately it's refusing to recognise the cartridges and won't print ... Read More:
