A very good hard drive that has been backing up to computers (a Macbook and an iMac) for at least 6 months now with no problems at all. The hard drive does make a bit of noise- but being my first hard drive I could not tell you if it was loud compared to the competition.

The hard drive works seamlessly with Time Machine (Apple's backup solution for macs). Another point to note is that I move this hard drive quite a bit across the room, so it has had a couple of 'knocks', but fortunately nothing seems to be affected. But since I do move it, I find the fact that it doesn't power itself purely through the USB annoying as I have to unplug it every time.

Great Product to use. Trouble with long usb cable to power device,

THE ONE SUPPLIED IS SHORT AND WORKS GREAT.

Format as fat32 to use on xbox360 or ps3 for movies or music.
Format software for fat32 you download would not work on vista but works on xp.
Device is preformated as fat32, i changed between mac htfs+ NTFS and FAT32 to test.

I've uploaded a couple of photos of what I received from Amazon on 2-Aug-2008; the microSDHC card and SD adapter.

The card works with my HTC-S710 Windows Mobile Smartphone.

It amazes me that such a tiny card can hold so much data and cost so little. It's so small that it isn't something I want to take out and put back into my phone on a regular basis because it is so fiddly to handle; I'll leave the data transferring to Bluetooth.

I only want to read peoples reviews of the product - not the sellers.

I thought that this product was great and at a fantastic price too. We have come a long way with technology since about 2 years ago it cost £20 for 256mb card!!

This card size also means you do not have to carry several cards in their little boxes when you can (hopefully) get all you snaps on the one memory card.

If I want to see a 3rd parties reviews I will view them on the Ratings page.

Recently bought this case for my Trekstor pocket g.u. Provides good protection for the hard drive when travelling, if just a little oversize for the pocket drive.

It works and it's cheap. But the picture quality on movie playback is poor by HD standards. The picture was washed out and really lack colour depth. Also the picture really lacked sharpness leading to a very flat picture lacking any punch. If you stick with this cable you might as well carry on buying regular DVD's as you are simple not getting the best from HD.

When you compare this with a mid range cable you'll see the difference. I compared it with a QED Qunex HDMI-SR and the difference was significant. This was verified by my wife who is always sceptical of the cost of equipment. The QED demonstrated strong vibrant colours and warm skintones combined with razor sharpness that makes images stand out. While I don't suggest going for a cable ... Read More:

I bought a 250 Gig version about a year ago and it was fine until last week when I started getting I/O errors, I have one of this model too, which is trouble-free, but I use the 250 Gig every day, and the 500 Gig as a backup, so although they are very good value for money it might be worth checking the opposition as well before buying.

Having previously been stung by a Freecom 8GB memory stick I have a slight thing against Freecom but this looked like it was what I wanted for what I wanted to pay and it is indeed a very neat wee unit.

Plugged straight in and off we went. 111GB usable.

Backed up loads of photos and transfer speeds quite acceptable too so lets hope it behaves better than its memory stick wee brother. So far, so good.

This flash drive has given me 3 blue screens and I have only had it 24 hours! In my opinion the SanDisk Cruzer Micro 4 GB is rubbish a total waste of 10 of her majesty's pounds. Tacky programs on the drive that you cannot remove and what the hell is 3U? It doesn't do what it says on the box and I certainly will not be buying another SanDisk products. The drive is now at the road side in a black sack waiting for the bin men because I can't be bothered with the hassle of returning it. I had to give it a star couldn't give it none !

Well what can I say....its one of the best units I have ever used. I was never an apple fan so never bought one but when I saw this I had to have it, with the software upgrade it is great. You can find your position on google maps (providing your in wifi range!), you can check the stockmarket (again only in wifi range), you can write notes, play games, look at photos (but not take them), listen to music, watch youtube, browse the internet. I mean this really is a spectacularly versatile unit. 16 GB was enough for me as my music range is limited but for someone who has a wide selection of music this may not be enough especially if you have alot of other files on there.
