The battery life is dreadful; the signal strength is at best poor and the design shocking.
Don't waste your money (like I did) going for the cheaper option. It's far more frugal to pay a little bit more and get one that cradles and charges your ipod while running the transmitter all from your cigarette lighter.

I was looking for a really high quality and durable cable to connect my iPod to AUX socket in car. I had found many previous cheaper cables regularly needed replacing. This product was excellent with next day delivery from seller. Highly recommended.

do NOT buy an iphone now. i hve got the 3g because all my old kit, eg. ipod speaker were redundant after my iphone broke prematurely and the lame apple warranty didnt cover it. i get the iphone and none of my kit works with it because it relies on firewire. accident. no. apple realise thay have taken the market and just like microsoft have tried to capitalise on the good faith of people like you Brand New Apple iPhone 8GB-Unlocked Mobile Phoneand me who paid for simplistic gadgets through the nose. stay clear. buy at your own risk.

Great price for a working FM transmitter that looks cheap but does the trick. for some reason, some of my music plays very well whilst other tracks sound pretty awful I can't work out why... The one very annoying thing about this though is the sound of the engine, especially the revs that seem to be transmitted as well as the music, you get a constant hissing sound that goes up and down as you go up and down in revs... Otherwise very straightforward set up and just about the only one currently available for the iPod Touch.

Given how little this product cost I was surprised how well it worked. A little too well actually. My son-in-law was holidaying when the goods arrived. He was so impressed with it that my wife give it to him and I had to order another.

Great product when you get it to work, but this took me a while because I wish I'd known:
- if you're not used to using your cigarette lighter as a power source, you need to know to push and wiggle this gadget quite hard so that it makes a connection. It doesn't damage the gadget and if you find it is not getting any power, you haven't pushed it in hard enough.
- It does play straight from a memory stick, you don't need an MP3 player, BUT, the memory stick must be less than 4MB.
- Read all the reviews and print out any with any instructions for how to use it. This is a great product but the minimal instructions it comes with are worse than useless.

At less than a fiver, this is a great solution to getting music from your MP3 player to your car stereo. My car stereo will play CD-R's but not MP3's. This solved the problem.
It works with both my Ipod touch and Archos Gmini. The sound quality is not as good as radio or CD, but for the price, I am not complaining.

Since buying this, I can see there are similar products that are actually stand alone MP3 players with their own remotes. I will probably invest in one of those gadgets now, which will prevent me from leaving my more expensive MP3 players lying about in my car.

I bought this to play my MP3 plays through my hi-fi, does the job brilliantly, sound quality very good, no hiss, good battery life with NiMh rechargeables (I don't use disposable batteries). I also use it to play Mp3's in the car - with excellent sound quality (Car is has the optional premium sound system)

Good price good product, it charges faster than if connected to my PC and you can still listen to music while it's charging.
