Top marks to ABC products - I received it a day before the promised despatch date. Not much to say about the cable other than it serves its purpose. I hooked it up, Vista saw and installed it and my old HP LaserJet 4L gets a new lease of life.

I bought this card to help me flash my Xbox 360 (Benq drive)

I didn't have any sata ports in my motherboard, so I had to buy a sata card with the right chipset (VIA).

I found this one, was the cheapest and had the right chipset I was looking for, so bought it right away.

And it did just what it was supposed to. Easy to install. It brings a mini-cd with drivers and quick installation guide... I just put the cd, windows recognized the drivers and installed it.

Then I used it to flash my xbox 360 drive and it did pretty well. ^^, (The package brings a Sata cable, but I used the one I already had)

The cheapest doesn't always mean the worst. This is a great quality product =D

Opened the box, plugged it into my EEE PC running Ubuntu Hardy Heron, loaded GTKTerm, selected the USB serial port (/dev/ttyUSB0) and it worked. All in all, less than thirty seconds. Excellent.

Delivery was good. Ordered late Wednesday night, on my doorstep in a jiffy bag 2nd class post Saturday morning.
The wire I received was about 1m long, but came with no driver CD.
The USB chip is Prolific PL-2303, and 5 seconds of Google will result in a driver download from Prolific's webpage, so the lack of CD didn't bother me.
Worked fine with my GPS device on XP.

The cable works very well, I now can use the printer I had forgotten due to the lack of parallel port in my computer. Installation manual, however, goes only up to windows 2000, which leads me to think that the product is rather old, or that Plug'N'Play usually takes care of this. I had a little puzzle to solve before I managed to make it work, but in the end I realized that the "Printer Spooler" service was disabled from within windows. Once enabled, everything worked perfectly
