Really not a lot to say about this item. It's cheap and does what it's suppoed to do. At this price why does Apple not provide a mains charger as standard?

I received the iPod charger very quickly however after 3 times charging it exploded, while plugged into the mains, with such force that the socket came into two parts and a black scorch mark was left up the wall.

Perfect, does exactly what it says on the tin. It's well built, stylish, light, comes with a blue LED and costs peanuts, what more could you wish for?! I can't understand the low ratings this product has got from previous reviewers.

Creative sell a charger for their mp3 players at around £13-20, dependant on where you buy this.

this charger is £4.75 delivered to mainland UK

it works well.

standard UK 3 pin plug, white.
has long wire.

on the end is USB, so might work with other USB devices, not sure haven't tested.

BUT DEFINITELY WORKS WITH CREATIVE ZEN (mine was 16gb)

when it is charging a large green light comes on that is quite mesmerizing, i stared at it for a good 30-45 seconds.

came in a jiffy bag, lined with bubble wrap.
inside was a square box and inside that was the charger.

the package is small enough to fit through a letterbox.

As the previous reviewer says, this product is not as pictured but the slightly bulkier one found around on ebay and other Amazon sellers. Because of the inaccurate advertising (the only reason I bought this one over the cheaper ones) I have given it one star.

It does however work like the official, but is not as neat and you have to push in the two sides of the ipod dock connector plug to release it.

Bought this about a week ago and have been using it since it arrived! Perfect for any person with an mp3 or even a phone who travels a lot. It's really small too which is an added bonus. This is easy to set up and sturdy and after having been dismally disappointed with a rival product (albeit not an auto scan model) I was prepared to be disappointed - not a bit of it - so far it has been great.
