Creative Labs has a habit of making excellent top range products at a price that not only the super-rich can afford. This has enabled them to compete in a tough market, and be successful against much larger brands, and they have gained a loyal following of customers who know that their purchase will be reliable and of a high quality. With that in mind, Creative Labs bring us these simple, cheap, but effective earphones, primarily for use with MP3 players.
Why choose these over any other pair? Most people's choice will be made by looking at price and producer. The price is great- you get the same quality here as you would off certain other brands at double or triple the price. Having said that, i'm not the sort of person who would ... Read More:

What can I say? Bass. They can handle lots of it. BUT, they're really quite uncomfortable to insert, and they've kinda given me a bit of ear-ache from pulling them out, putting them back in (because of the suction). So for that reason, I'm not over-keen. I guess they'll come in useful on the bus and walking about near traffic, since you can't hear much whilst music is playing...
Apart from the bass, the sound is okay, however, there's a certain something I can't really put my finger on that makes the sound a little fatiguing that I couldn't fix with an EQ. Maybe it's because they're so close to the ear-drums... Then again, I have pretty sensitive ears *shrugs*.
So I think I'll stick to normal buds for general use.
I purchased a couple of pairs for around 4 quid.
They are a comfortable in-ear fit. Not much bass, but audible.
No noise leakage to speak of, to the best of my knowledge.
They are nothing on my Sony Noise Canceling in-ear 'phones, but they're 10% of the price.
Great general purpose headphones, but look at the price - they are not for 'serious' music listening. My point of view is that they were cheap, they block out other sounds reasonably well, and they're okay for sound.

Had a pair for about a month and then without warning the right earphone just stopped producing as much sound as the left so as you can hardly hear it. Its a shame because the earphones while they worked where excellent with brilliant sound.

These earphones have great sound quality but low volume and terrible durability/life. I look after my eletronic items very well and these lasted a week before they just stopped woking. I never played them at full volume and i only used them a few times. Sony are one of the best electronics companies and have always bought great products from them but I was extremely dissapointed with these earphones and don't recommend them to any one. My advice is to go with the Sony MDR-ED21LP Fontopia earphones, they lasted me a few years and have great sound quality.

Just bought the PX200's from Amazon - very fast delivery as usual !
I've owned the superb PX100's for a couple of years and decided to try out the PX200's to keep any sound leakage from annoying the wife ! Bad mistake ! As others have said - totally lacking in bass unless you press them very hard to your ears !! Anyone who rates the PX200's highly should really listen to the PX100's - completely different sound quality ! I returned mine for a refund - again thank you Amazon.

I've just bought a pair of the white CX300's and must confess that I am very, very happy with them. When I first tried them they sounded tinny and without bass. Then, I remembered a review that mentioned that they sounded good when fitted "correctly". I pushed the 'phones in a little further and hey presto, the bass comes alive with a warmth not experiented previously with my iPod.
There is a small problem with the rubberised cables as other reviewers have noted. If jogging or moving around alot, the cables do tend to become noisy. I'm sure I can work 'round this though.
I only paid £2.99 + £4.50 p&p on Amazon so am well chuffed.
