for the price these speakers deliver a superb sound. compatible with i pods,all mp3s and portable cd players.

i couldn't find them cheaper elsewhere.

Speakers work with my Sony Walkman well. Suprised at the good sound quality that come out of these speakers. Highly recommended!!

I was dubious of this product obviously because it was cheap and all, when it arrived I was also worried because my old rover does not even have a ciggerette lighter, but I put in batteries and they work fine. It really is worth the money and it works perfectly, the only problem is there is noise when a song is not playing but it's hardly a big deal. I would definatley reccomend saving your money and buying this.

For the money, I guess this isn't a bad little machine, but I'd agree with all the other people who've said that it's a bit too quiet. In an otherwise quiet environment it's fine, but out in the real world, even at full volume, it really doesn't cut the mustard. I find it loud enough for rock music, but pretty useless for talking books, on the street or on the train, and especially on planes. You can't hear a damn thing! I'm not a big classical listener, but I also find that orchestral stuff isn't as loud as it might be. Listening to a Star Wars soundtrack the other morning as I walked to work, I could barely hear it even at full volume, and the road I was walking alongside wasn't THAT busy. I bought this radio 2 weeks ago and I am very happy with it.
Firstly I think is very well priced and looks almost as good as the £200 models ( that can be a bit too small ).

Secondly the maple finish looks stilish and makes any room look good.

The sound is a good as it can get with digital radio and can fill a big room without distorsion. You can program it to wake you up in the morning with your favorite station ( has 2 types of wake up mode weekdays and weekends ) , the brightness settings can be adjusted to night time.

The power sourse looks cheap and ugly so I invested £25 on a Pure VL-60924 ChargePAK E1 battery which are long lasting rechargable and you do not need to take them out as they recharge from the ... Read More:

As soon as i got the speakers i eagerly tested them with the batteries and also using the mains.
i was pleasantly surprised at how long the power lasts with the batteries i used (1000mAh uniross rechargeables) and the sound quality and volume produced.
Definitely a must buy for your ipod if you have a strict budget, definitely value for money.
A pity about the design of the docking base... absolutely useless as it's impossible for the ipod to sit in the way the image displays with the jack connecting at the bottom, sticking out.

It really deserves a 5 star rating if it wasn't for the poor design of the docking base!

I got these headphones for my K550i after the standard ones packed in. At first I thought these were great, they delivered excellent quality sound and the ear buds stuck in my ears like glue.

But I have only had them about a month and already the left headphone will not work any more, they have not been abused only used frequently but considering it only cost a couple of quid its not the end of the world.

The good thing about this unlike the standard Sony Ericsson headphones is that you can plug any normal headphones into the adapter so all I need is some normal headphones and I'm set again

It is well built, the controls (tune and volume) are solid and smooth, sound quality (I mostly listen to radio 3) is perfectly adequate, and it seems to last forever on a set of 4 AA batteries. I'm very happy with my purchase.

Very little to be negative about. Good sound, very versatile settings, the radio seems quite sensitive, even with the silly wire aerial and the CD sound is perfectly adequate to all but perfectionists. You can use headphones (proper ones, not those painful plastic things). It does what it says on the box - that's all you can ask. I also like the light-sensing display. I just hope it's reliable - I may change my mind if it breaks!

Received very promptly - not especially high expectations, given size and price, but I am, unfortunately, having to return the speakers. They are undoubtedly louder than my laptop speakers, but unpleasantly distorted, even at low volume.
