Belkin Surgemaster 8 Way 2m Cable Phone/Modem/DSL/Broadband and Arial/ Cable/ Modem Protection

I have had a couple of Belkin units, including this one, fail to protect my equipment. Once a PC just died one day, and I found burn marks on the motherboard PSU connector. The other time with this exact unit there was a lightning strike nearby, and the computer PSU was fried along with my monitor and HiFi amplifier.

Both times I tried to claim from Belkin on their warranty. They make it very hard, and you have to send them the damaged equipment. In both cases they at first refused to pay up, but eventually I got some compensation out of them. Nothing like the value of the items though, only their "second hand" value which for Belkin means car boot sale prices.

Belkin 802.11g Wireless G Desktop Network Card

Bought this card when i moved into a house share setup with a Belkin Wifi Router. I'm in the loft 3 floors up, and while i get great signal strength (Excellent) i get constant dropouts and awful transfer rates across the network.

My Asus 1000H eeePc gets better reception and transfer rates without an external aerial.

The software is awful, and Belkin appear to have stopped working on the drivers and software which need significant improvements.

Really poor product, go with another card or USB receiver

Belkin Laptop Sling Bag - Jet/Cabernet

This is an amazing buy. I chose it in preference to the Incase Sling Bag for 17" MacBook at the Apple Store. This Belkin bag is less than one third of the price of the Incase product and almost as well designed and made, which is to say VERY well made and designed (the Incase is a work of art and the price reflects that, which is probably not an issue for anyone in the 17" Apple MacBook league!). I bought this for my short cycling commute to work so stability was an important factor for me. Does it swing round in mid ride? No, it stays perfectly balanced across the middle of my back. Belkin WIRELESS USB ADAPTER * N1

I brought this to go with my N1 Router which is excellent, however this adapter is not.

It seems to connect periodically from time to time for no more then a minute, when it is connected it runs very well but cuts out and refuses to connect again.

What's also interesting is that it connects fine to my next door neighbour that runs his wireless unsecurely.

All in all, go for the cheaper 20 quid ones.

Belkin USB 2.0 4Port Economy Hub

I had my doubts as to whether or not to order this as it dosn't make it clear that this is a mains power device which was what I wanted.
I plugged it in it connected straight away,it has a nice solid feel the 4 grn LCDs only illuminate when in use so its easy to see if your periferals are connected. I have always found Belkin good.

Belkin iPod to iPhone Tunecast Auto

Bought this for my iPhone 3G after reading online reviews saying it was compatible. However it isn't fully - FM transmitter works but no charging, and Belkin support have confirmed (although their US website lists it as compatible). Can only conclude there will be an updated version coming soon, potentially of the same name and part number. Otherwise this is a good product with a reasonable cable length to keep the phone away from the car audio and avoiding the usual GSM interference.

Belkin iPod Nano 3G Silicone Sleeve - Black

Personally i dont think you can beat any of the Belkin Ipod accessories, this does exactly what its meant to & you can use the Ipod as freely as if it wasn't there. Much better than the other cheap types available.

Belkin N Wireless USB Adapter

I have had one of these working with connection to a router for about a month now. It connects at about 270Mbps through walls and ceilings, and currently to a not very well positioned router - it is in the corner of a room, about 2.5 - 3m below the height of the adapter, and normally this can cause problems, but I have had none. Set-up was also very easy.
