After reading all the stuff on the web on this card i had to get one for games especially,the sound is crisp clear loud and its easier to tell where enemies are in cod4 especially with creative headphones,the virtual 7.1 works really well,if you have onboard sound the step up is quite high,i had a sb audigy 4 before ,it is a step up but not massive as you might think,i would say if you have onboard sound buy this card for a step up ,if you have a audigy 4 or something similar don't bother,also ive had no issues so far,i did when i got an xtreme music card before there was crackles and pops every where it was terrible.

Creative Labs HQ1400 Headphones

The only issue is the single wiring to the left of the headphones. It may sound like you are only listening to one side; they also sound a bit muddy but perfect in all senses.

From treble to bass I wouln't say buy another brand. With mid-base being perfect and making instrumental music come alive, these rock. The treble is sharp but can faulter music so if you have a good "Treble" setting on your MP3 or other media devices, up the trebel so sound isn't muddy.

These aren't the average phones' because they only sound good at home. They leak allot so riding the bus with your music playing is a real no. They don't block outside noise either.

Creative Zen Stone Plus Silicon Skin Black

The skin and the clip that comes with it are both very fragile.
Originally I bought an armband but ripped the skin trying to put it on (you need to stretch the *large* hole to insert the player ;-)
I ordered this skin to go with the armband but its slightly different (!) and won't fit. The clip was fine for a while until the plastic snapped under pressure from the spring.
I wish I'd bought a different player now.

Creative Zen MicroPhoto 8GB MP3 Player - Black

I've had mine for about 18 months now, and have put it through vigorus use, and yesterday it finaly gave up the go. overall i think that this is a very good player, that is easy to use (once you work out how to use the touch pads) that has easy to use software, that was easy to install (even on my rubbish comp, that doesn't like any thing new).
However i did have a few minor problems, i found that it was very slow to load and that every so often (about once a month)i had to reboot the library (which took forever). I also found that the headphone wire broke very easily and have had to replace them twice, but don't let this stop buying them because this is still a top notch player that is great to use.

Zen Stone Silicon Skin Pink

I bought this for my wife as she wanted a tiny mp3 player for work, that wasn't to fiddly and with a decent amount of memory. She says it is superb although headphones are a bit tinny.

Creative EP-635 in-ear earphones, rubber bud

Wanted white earphones to use with white Zen Stone (like to be colour co-ordinated). Find it handy to have neck strap, then player isn't as likely to pull buds out of ears. These had received good reviews (except the 'tinny' one), but I realise that you have to use the right size of ear bud to get the best from them. I tried the small to start with, but the sound wasn't very good. Changed to medium and brilliant, I could hear bits of background music I'd never noticed before, loads of bass and very clear. I'm really pleased with them and thinking of ordering a black pair (to go with my black Zen Stone, obviously!!).

I don't usually write reviews, but given that the negative feedback here almost stopped me buying this I thought I should.

There's nothing wrong with this skin. I've been using it for weeks, swapping between this skin and my armband skin several times a week with no problems or tearing and the clip hasn't broken either.

Just take care when you're putting the skin on and be aware that it's made of silicon not steel, so could tear if you rush by trying to expand the hole too far.

Zen Vision:M Docking Station

Main advantage for me is that the players still plays while charging and docked. When I use the USB cord to a PC it says it's docked and that's that....

Yes I bought the extras with the mains charger so that helps.

It's still easier to use the headphone socket to play through speakers, if you use the AV cable (extras) it blacked out the screen to.

Also works with my 60Gb model (believe it was one of the later slimmer ones).

Creative TravelSound i80 "Made For iPod" Portable Speaker

Only buy this if you want something really small & convenient & can put up with tinny sound and the vibrating metal back.
I bought this speaker with my first ever ipod as a package, & I loved the look of it as it came out of the packaging, but I have been bitterly disappointed ever since! It certainly does nothing for the quality of the i pod and I get better sound repro from my cheap Currys speakers which were a fifth of the price.
