Creative Zen Stone Plus 2GB MP3 Player - Lime

So small and light you can forget you have it with you!

The battery is charged by USB so no good if you're not near a computer. Once charged, it will play MP3s for some three hours or more. It probably shouldn't be thought of as just an MP3 player, as it has a few useful extras: FM radio, stopwatch, in-built microphone for recording. The storage is an inbuilt SD card so it doesn't skip when on the move.

The best aspect of it though is the ability to drag & drop files onto it; there is none of the need-to-use-iTunes to get MP3s onto it (you can also use it to store non MP3 files).

Creative I-Trigue 3330

I needed speakers for my desktop and didn't want something taking my desk over and these were prefect. The sound is great; it fills the room with less then half a turn on the volume dial, won't ever need to turn it all the way up. The bass has a separate dial on the side of the volume control, it would have been nice to have the treble too ;-), but for the price I am not complaining. These are great for any computer system, laptop or desktop.

The sound is great; it fills the room with less then half a turn on the volume dial, won't ever need to turn it all the way up. The bass has a separate dial on the side of the volume control, it would have been nice to have the treble too ;-), but for the price I am not complaining. Creative Zen Micro Remote Control - Black

I was a bit disappointed with this - it's quite bulky and not terribly elegant. The buttons are bit of a fiddle and the cord is quite thick. Overall it feels more bulky than the Creative Zen V I connect it to. The Apple remote I used with an iPod was much nicer to use (and in fairness to Creative some of my difficulties with this remote probably come from my familiarity with the Apple device). Another niggle is the clip to attach it to your jacket or bag isn't terribly well designed or secure.

For nearly £20 it wouldn't be unreasonable to expect something a little more elegant than this - a remote is very useful as it saves you endlessly digging in pockets or bags to change the volume or track - as it feels bit of an afterthought compared ... Read More:

Creative HS-390 Headset

I am a daily chatter online using such programs as MSN,Yahoo and Skype.The quality of the mic on this headset is absolutely TERRIBLE.It's been about 4 months since I've purchased this-at first the sound quality was fine but since last month there has been a terrible buzzing and whoever I talk to online has great difficulty understanding me.Avoid buying,I do NOT recommend,especially for daily use.Dissapointing from the Creative brand.

The Zen Stone is my first portable mp3 player.

I bought it to replace a portable CD player that I linked to my car cassette player. I'm more concerned with price and functionality than aesthetics. Hence the ipod series was discounted on price. As indeed was the more sensible solution of buying a decent CD player for the car to replace my prehistoric cassette player.

Anyway the Stone duly arrived and is excellent. Small enough to fit into a box of matches and feather-light.

I bought this blue one but it came with a free armband and (black) rubber housing, so the original colour is rather pointless in this case.

The Stone connects to a PC via a short USB cable, supplied. This cable also charges the Stone. ... Read More:

Zen Vision:M Docking Station

Main advantage for me is that the players still plays while charging and docked. When I use the USB cord to a PC it says it's docked and that's that....

Yes I bought the extras with the mains charger so that helps.

It's still easier to use the headphone socket to play through speakers, if you use the AV cable (extras) it blacked out the screen to.

Also works with my 60Gb model (believe it was one of the later slimmer ones).
