Devolo MicroLink dLAN Highspeed Starter Kit

I was considering setting up a wired network (didn't want wireless having seen how slow it can be and health concerns) in my home when I came across these, I had never heard of them before and decided to give them a try. The results were absolutely amazing, I set up the router, plugged these in and that was it! Home network set up literally in seconds with no loss of performance. Best money I have ever spent on computer bits.

After battling with WiFi issues for a streaming music system in our house, moved to the 200 Mbit Devolo and everything just works... Shamefully rare for a technology product, but I highly recommend these.

I live in an old barn and the wireless signal from my BT home hub reached less than half of it becuase of its size and thick stone wals. I bought this product and in 10 minutes the problem was solved.Signal strenght is excellent and it covers the whole house. I can strongly recommend this product. It is really easy to set up and install.

Ecellent product, so easy. Just plug in and you are straight on the server. My wireless does not cover the whole house, this now allows this to happen. Brillant!

Devolo dLAN duo Starter Kit (Ethernet & USB)

Almost had to re-lay a new telephone extension two floors up but instead i bought this and moved my broadband modem downstairs nearer to the phone socket and the second one upstair next to my Mac, works a treat and i have both ends plugged into surge protected extension leads which it doesnt advise on the leaflet but works fine with mine. I have even tried a speed test on the broadband through the DUO which came up more then satisfactory.
Set up in 2 minutes (including walking up 2 flights of stairs)....brilliant brilliant brilliant

Does what it says on the tin. Very quick and easy to set up and a good alternative to wireless for setting up a home network if wireless reception is an issue. The adaptors remain expensive however so for most wireless will remain a cheaper option. Once the price comes down this will become a more mainstream choice.

My brother brought the set with the 2 plugs that give you 85mbp, because I have an xbox wireless adapter i thought i might as put it too good use and use the wireless instead of a wire. It works great and works with the plug we already brought so all i had to do was put the other plug in my room (we also have very very thick walls) and it works superb. The wireless isnt as good connection as using the wire but all the same is the best solution if having problems with getting wireless everywhere in your home great job Devlolo!!

Firstly i suffer from poor wifi reception through living in an old terrace house and have only ever had very low or just plain low reception at the rear of it !About a year ago i bought a Sitecom wireless extender from Maplins but over the last year i have spent an eternity trying to configure it and getting nowhere!That was £30+ wasted so when i saw this product i wanted so much to try it but maplins had reduced it to £70 but i was worried it too was going to be another waste of money!SOO i trawled the net and with about a fiver in postage i got it here for about £57! ALL YOU DO is plug it in your main PC or spare ethernet socket on your router ,then go to where you have no reception ,plug the other unit in a wall socket and plug the cable from it in ...
