Goodmans GTVL19W17HVFW 19" HD Ready TV/DVD Player with Freeview in Whitefrom: Goodmans This TV can play multi region DVDs ( iv tried quite a few asian region DVDs - im so surprised but soooooooooooooooooooooooo happy! its a good buy! im surprised as normally i will go for other prestigious brands. its white so merges really well if u have white walls, or dont want the tv 'frame' to stand out as much! Recommended to bedrooms!! I didnt expect the dvd player can play other regions outside Europe, but it did!! |

Goodmans GHD8015f2 twin tuner digital tv recorder with 80gb hddfrom: GOODMANS February 22, 2007 Generally this is a very good product, it's really easy to use and has a great UI - something that can't be said for much Freeview equipment. So why only 2 stars? Well there are 2 issues - first is that the twin tuner is watch one channel, and record another. You cannot record two channels at the same time! Second is the noise - when the disk spins up it is unacceptably loud (think original xbox noisy), ok for action films but annoying for anything else. |

. GOODMANS DAB clock radio with IPOD dockfrom: GOODMANS The sound quality of this product is exceptionally poor. I bought this product on the basis of a previous purchase of the Goodmans Micro 1104S DAB which is exceptional for the price. In my view, Goodmans have let themselves down very badly on the sound quality of this product. The sound is thin and tinny - even the equalisation cannot cure this problem! |

Plays MP3, pictures AND plays/records Video - what more do you want! At £110 it is a fantastic bargain - buy it - you won't regret it! Comes complete with lots of included "extras" - lithium/ion battery, power supply/charger, headphones, SCART adapter, AV lead, USB lead, software, and a particularly nice case with opening on right hand side so the controls can still be used. It comes with a 256Mb MMC card and although the manual says max 512Mb, as others have said, it will also take a 1Gb SD card (I bought the Viking for £20). . Goodmans Twin Tuner Set Top Box with 160GB Hard Drive GHD1621F2from: Goodmans I bought this box after returning a Thomson one - it is a much better box for only £10 more!! Easy to set up, easy to use, instructions are easy to understand! Can record 2 channels at once - but you can only watch either of the 2 channels, but if your recording one you can watch any other channel. Looks pretty good too!!! |

Goodmans GPDR40 40GB Multi Function Personal MPEG4 Digital Video Playerfrom: Goodmans Industries Limited January 21, 2005 I bought this hoping that I would be able to copy all my daughter's videos and dvds so that we could take them on holiday and keep her occupied on days when we are travelling or hanging around. However, I am disappointed that I cannot copy bought DVDs as they are protected, despite an earlier reviewer saying that the device ignores this aspect. The only way I seem to be able to copy these is to make a VHS copy first and then copy the VHS which is both time-consuming and also obviously not as good quality. I have tried copying using the file transfer device via the computer but this didn't work either. I would be grateful to hear if anyone has any suggestions. |
