Imation CDR-80 (52x) 100pk Spindle

Have burned over 300 of these now and they are the only brand that give a consistent performance as audio cdr's when played on audio equipment.

I've tried other more expensive brands but these have been very hit and miss for audio playback.

Never had a failed burn and I thoroughly recommend them.

Low Price. Low Quality. Buy twice as many as you need as you may well find half broken by the time you have inserted the first CD.

Tried three in my liteon drive and none worked, tried one in my Compaq laptop rewriter, and after some time it managed to write at 10x.

I should stress that neither of these writers has ever had any trouble with any other brand (even cheapies) so I simply cannot recommend Imation (especially since their DVDs don't work in my Liteon recorder)

Using these discs to record video is not a good idea. When playing back the video, all i got was unknown meaning that i could not watch what i recorded. I recommend going for either the maxell or verbatim brand as i have not had any problems so far. Basically these discs are used as only frisbee's and coasters with the occasional one that works only once.

Have purchased a number of these cases,they are adequate for cd/dvd storage however they are a little fragile & some can be broken upon arrival. HOWEVER Tesco stock the same items for only £3.70p which is a lot cheaper than at Amazon.

In the past I have bought DVD's from various manufacturers and have encountered many problems - some don't burn, some burn but don't play, some disintergrate after a few months. However, Imation ones ALWAYS work. Take a hard earned tip from me and stick with these.

After Giving a bad review then editing it and now re-editing it, I have come to the conclusion that buying these is simply a gamble. My first spindle worked fine, the second won't work in my Divx player, even though the previous spindle did, they were both identical products! The Dvd's appear to work in my PC but I'll let you know if anything changes.

In the description for this product says able to re-write 1000 times. I found after re-writing video only once. The resulting quality of the video recordings is so bad the disk is no longer usable. So for video recordings these disks are effectively dvd-r disks only able to write video recordings once.If you need to write video many times don't bother.
