Kingston - Memory - 4 GB ( 2 x 2 GB ) - SO DIMM 200-pin - DDR2 - 667 MHz - unbufferedfrom: Kingston Technology Bought this on the off-chance it will work in a PC as the MAC architecture is Intel now - tried to find on net if it would work in a PC as the spec says for MAC but couldnt find anything so still gave it a try. Installed the memory in a Dell 1520 laptop and it works wonderfully! Good brand and a great price for 4Gb!! |

. Kingston 512MB PC3200 400MHz DDR-SDRAM Memory 184 Pin DIMMfrom: KIngston July 22, 2007 I have always rated Kingston products and this is no exception. Updating your memory needs to be done carefully, with no chance of that dreaded static affecting the mem chip as you install it - that being said, follow the instructions and your Kingston memory chip will quietly do what you've paid for it to do. After all you cannot have too much memory. |

. Kingston - Memory - 1 GB - DIMM 240-pin - DDR II - 533 MHz / PC2-4200 - CL4 - 1.8 V - unbuffered - non-ECCfrom: KIngston My Dell PC came with 1 GB of RAM. Fine to run XP but insufficient when dealing with large photograph files in Photoshop. The Dell has 4 memory slots, two of which are occupied by 512 MB memory modules. I considered buying 4 x 1 GB modules but then found out that the motherboard can only address a maximum of 3.5 GB of RAM. I therefore saved £40 and purchased 2 x 1 GB modules, which triples my memory to 3 GB for half the outlay. It was very easy to install and worked instantly. The BIOS alerted me that the amount of system memory had been altered when the PC started. The hard drive light now barely flickers as the system RAM is sufficient to avoid using it as a buffer. Highly recommended. |
