Kingston - Flash memory card ( SD adapter included ) - 2 GB - miniSD

In order to use this in my Palm PC, I have to format it as FAT32. Not a problem usually except that none of my laptops will even recognise the card.

From looking up on the net, this is a problem with slightly older laptops/computers and the Kingston memory. In order to get around it I have had to purchase a card reader instead of using the on-board SD reader on my Toshiba M300.

So word of warning, in itself it is not a bad card, but some computers will simply not recognise it.

Recived this card today, placed it in my phone connected my phone to the PC anc copied 350Mb of music in just a few seconds. Very pleased with the item.

I have been using this for a while and it works fine as expected. I am now running Vista on a 6year old machine.

I am using a Compaq Presario V3410TU laptop for 6 months which originally cam with 1GB memory. I bought two of these from an amazon partner/seller. Installed these and both are working fine. Windows Vista and the other programs now start faster. I would recommend this to others as it perfectly mathes my HP/Compaq noteboo. But you should try the kingston memory finder to know the exact model of ram. I hope that it would work for years after years.

I am using a Compaq Presario V3410TU laptop for 6 months which originally cam with 1GB memory. I bought two of these from an amazon partner/seller. Installed these and both are working fine. A few years ago I bought a 1GB Mini-SD card for nearly £70, it's not surprising that technology has moved on to produce higher capacity cards - that was inevitable. The surprising aspect is the amazing price drop over the last few years. For less than a fiver you can now have a few GB of physical storage in a format not much bigger than a sweetcorn nibblet!

I've had a few Kingston cards and the Japanese based-company produces high quality cards which often retail for less than the bigger brands such as SanDisk. The Micro-SD card slots into the supplied SD Adaptor. It's a nice snug fit, and the slight lip on the outside of the Micro-SD card assists you in removing it once it's inserted.
