I do a lot of presentations with my job, and wanted a reliable & simple means of controlling Powerpoint etc remotely. This does the job perfectly.

It's plug & Play (both on my XP machine, and also my MacBook) and has controls to enable you to: -

1. Move forward (i.e. page down in PPT)
2. Move backward (i.e. page up in PPT)
3. Blank the screen (i.e. pressing B in PPT)
4. Fire the laser pointer

It fits nicely into the hand, too, and the USB receiver stick clicks into the body of the handset for easy storage. Obviously it works for other applications, too, and not just Powerpoint. It just emulates the keypresses shown above, so you can view PDFs, Word docs etc in the same ... Read More:

Received this today, plugged it in, was recongised as a "new device" and installed itself. Then simply plugged in a webcam, iPod, scanner and Blackberry. Possibly this overloaded it a tad as the scanner did not seem to kick in (I noted previous reviews about power consumption - you can buy separately an external power supply to connect to the device if you wish), however when I removed the Blackberry I could scan, transfer files to the iPod and watch myself on the webcam. Highly unlikely that I would use more than 2 devices at the same time so it does exactly what I want it to, i.e. save me having to relentlesly unplug and re-plug in devices to my USB ports.

Would have liked a longer cable (only a couple of centimeters) but considering ... Read More:

All these guys are right, this is an incredible product, but if ur itching 2 know whether there is anything iffy about it then it is the size... As u can probably see by the picture, even when u sit one of the largest Ipods in it, it still leaves an unnecessary amount of space around ur mp3 player, which is fine if ur not a pocket person.

I don't go on hikes much, I just love to share music so I bought this cool lil bag for pubs and other common social gatherings, but unless I wear a hoody out, i'm carrying it around in my hand most of the time. If ur a girl don't worry, buy it now; its a handbag buddy! But guys this is a damn tight squeeze into ur back pockets even if they are unusually big.

Works really well, apart from a fatal design flaw, which is that it switches off if the music goes fairly quiet for a minute or more. This results in ear-splitting static as the radio loses signal.

This unfortunately means it's useless for classical music, or indeed any music which has significant variations in volume.

I've never written a review before, but this thing is so good I had to spread the word.
It is a lot more solid than it looks on the picture and has totally revolutionised my posture and workspace.

It is simply brilliant. If you are looking for something like this, look no further. This is everything you need it to be, simple, strong, and inexpensive. Buy it.

Fine if it is going to stay on a desk, but BEWARE if it will be used with a laptop or at an armchair! The trackball is not held in place and drops out very easily. So unless you fancy crawling under the sofa every five minutes, look elsewhere for your trackball mouse!

I thought that I would try this as a friend recommended it to me. I am so glad I brought this one as it was so easy to set up and tune in, all three preset frequencies done in under five minutes, it is very clear, works brilliantly, highly recommended.

very disappointed by this after reading all the positive reviews.
very rarely get good reception, especially if you go to London where there are a lot of radio stations it was impossible to listen to.

Have got one in the office and one at home. Very comfortable even after long periods of use. Gonna get the keyboards now!!!
