Hair collection works perfectly and is a boon.
Cuts perfectly and, best of all, quickly.

If I had read some of the earlier reviews first I may not have bought this but I am pleased I did.

Reading the earlier reviews.... It is possible, I suppose, that if you are clumsy or cack-handed you may change the settings in use and even drop the thing causing it to spring apart. But if you do not fall into the clumsy category then this trimmer is to be highly recommended.

Philips 7FF2FPA/05 7" Digital Photoframe

This is the third frame i have bought as presents for relatives. All have been very pleased.
This was the first one i have bought that needs to be always plugged in, but generally they sit on a shelf anyway.
The picture quality is superb. The instruction book is vague but it takes two minutes to figure out what the symbols mean and work your way around the settings. Small internal memory but as this was a purchase for grandmother we will be regularly sending memory cards for updates anyway.Simple easy to use looks great! Easily beats other frames in same price band!

Philips DTR220 - Ultra Compact Digital Freeview Set Top Box

I was a bit disappointed when I read the numerous bad reviews for this Freeview box, as when I initially read the description and spec's it all sounded pretty good. I tried looking for an alternative Freeview box but was rather surprised by the real lack of quality set top boxes on the market. It seems that just about every box is made by a little heard of manufacturer who make it their aim to make the most hideous looking box on the market. Because of this I decided to take a chance and go for the Philips which at least came from a fairly reputable manufacturer and looks good.

Philips SVC2540/10 Plasma & LCD Screen Cleaner

After much deliberation on which product to purchase I plumped for this, and was glad that I did.

My 40" LCD is a dust magnet, and tends to pick up finger prints all the time. I wanted a product that wouldn't cause any smearing or distress to my panel.

I would echo what everybody else has said on here, in that the product doesn't leave any residue, nor does it smear. From what I can gage the liquid/gel doesn't give off any smell either.

For the price you get a huge bottle of cleaner, and the microfiber cloth you get is very handy too.

So if your wondering which LCD/plasma cleaner to buy then you can't do wrong with buying this!

Philips TT2021 Bodygroom - Male Body Hair Trimmer

I mainly use this to shave, rather than trim, and to that end it does an excellent job. It is comfortable to use all over the body, even in the more delicate 'nether regions'. The peculiar shaped head and body is ideal for manoeuvring into difficult areas and folds, and it can be held securely in awkward angles.

The unit is rechargeable, with a 8 hour charge providing about 40mins operation. I would advise to charge before each use, to avoid the power running out halfway unexpectedly. (Unless you are actually going for the part-shaved look!)

Philips CD1351S/05 - Cordless Phone Answer Machine

bought this answerphone just before christmas. i have found it very difficult to hear people phoning me having to turn off the tv volume and really press the receiver to my ear.
added to this the answerphone has now broken and won't allow anyone to leave messages, telling them to phone back later.
not a happy bunny!

Philips VOIP3211 VOIP And Skype Compatible Digital Cordless Telephone

I purchased this phone when I had XP and it worked fine. I have found it impossible however to get it working properly with Vista. Philips Customer Support is abysmal and the phone is now useless. Skype is an excellent tool but if you are running Vista choose a compatible phone NOT this one.

I have owned sonicade toothbrushes for >10yrs and think they are fantastic. This new improved version is great and the super clean option is great.

To my surprise you can change settings whilst cleaning. This wouldn't be a problem if the setting change button wasn't where your hand naturally rests..because it is you can change setting 1/2dozen times each toothbrush clean..from clean to sensitive to massage and then round again....quite annoying on a day to day basis.

I would have assumed they would program it so that you couldn't change settings during each clean...unfortunately you can...and it is really quite irritatating.
