Sennheiser PMX60 Open Neckband Headphone

I'm very pleased with these Sennheiser headphones, which I bought six months ago. They are an excellent alternative to ear buds, sitting neatly and comfortably over the ears, supported by the neckband. They may leak sound, but they also allow sound in. I use them to listen to my mp3 player at home, on my own, or in the gym. There may be better compact earphones for hi-fi reproduction, but I use them most often to listen to downloaded voice podcasts and language courses. They are ideal for most purposes. Recommended.

If nothing is being played, a loud static hiss starts about 1 to 2 minutes after. This effectively makes the headphones useless.

Sennheiser PMX 100 headphones

I use an Ipod touch and think the earphones supplied are ok and thats it they are just ok, so I wanted some thing a bit better but not to pricey, plus I am not to keen on in ear headphones. I had a look at a lot of pairs on amazon and decided on these, my review is very simple, for the money these headphones are superb, they fit well, they are light and sound great, cons I know they are open back but they really do leek sound like a sieve so if you use the bus or tube and like me are worried about annoying other people with your music then these are not for you trust me. I will give them 5 star because they do exactly what they say on the tin.The sound is great So I will keep these but I will looking for a closed back pair.

I am more discerning than most people when it comes to headphones, though I would not call myself a bona fide audiophile: my most advanced headphones being the Sennheiser HD280s, which I've also reviewed.

Being a bit of a wired snob in that I don't generally trust wireless devices* to provide equal fidelity to wired ones, so I didn't expect much from the RS120s. I was pleasantly surprised when I tried them out with a Hilary Hahn CD. They are open, so they've got a fairly light, airy sound that some may feel lacks punch, but is fine for most music and is not overly tiring on the ears. Sennheiser PMX200 Neckband Closed Back Headphones

I purchased the PMX200 alongside the PMX100's and surprisingly there is a definite quality difference. The sound is clear, precise and full. They are very capable little speakers managing a wide range of frequencies. The only let down in the whole experience revolves around the closed ear units, unfortunately the covering used creates rustling noises whenever I move my head, Very distracting. This isn't something exhibited on the PMX100's with the open and cheaper padding unit. I might just remove the covering to see if this helps, drastic but as that's the only thing preventing a full house, maybe it's worth a try.

Sennheiser PXC250 Headphone with Noise Reduction

I've just bought these headphones and want to sound one warning that I think has been insufficiently highlighted in the previous reviews and that is the headphones are very susceptible to electrical interference. For example, if I place the battery holder / electronics unit ontop of my ipod nano I get a very irritating low frequency hum. I also found using these with my computer that careful placement is necessary to avoid the same noise. Finally, if a telephone rings it creates a very loud and unpleasent noise in the headphones.

Otherwise, they are fine.

Sennheiser HD280pro Closed DJ/Monitor Headphone

I have only just open the box and am using them as I am writing this. Absolutely fantastic! Not often do you find such value for money. Thanks to all those who wrote the past reviews. Right on the button. Certainly not for bass freaks which suits me great. Powerful but not overbearing,superb sound definition. From Satriani's guitar nonsense to Miles Davis this sounds really wonderful.
For those who can't go through life without moaning, it is indeed a bulky headset and the "telephone" style cord is thick and heavy and somewhat cumbersome. I would say that form first impressions it isn't a traveler's item.
