Sony DRBT21GB On Ear Stereo Bluetooth Headphones - Black

Bought a Sony Playstation 3 Console in September last year and wanted to be able to speak to friends online whilst playing online games so, needed to think about purchasing some bluetooth headphones to enable me to do this.

Out of all the different type of headphones I have worn over the years I have found the small in ear type earphones do not stay in my ear that well and the other type of headset that hooks over the ear uncomfortable to wear if worn for long periods of time. As I would be using a headset for gaming and for long periods of time both did not meet my requirements and I deemed both these types unsuitable.

I bought this as a way of eliminating some of the cabling that the original headphones are burdened with. This is the second one unfortunately as the first decided it didn't want to show the current track or skip forwards and backwards. All is well with this replacement and I am very impressed with the whole experience. One minor niggle is that the radio functions for the Sony Ericsson W890i are only available with the cabling supplied with the phone. Slightly disappointing as it is a Sony Ericsson product that was shown on their website as a compatible accessory.
Back to the bluetooth headset, it is light, incredibly easy to pair with a compatible device (tried a PS3 too) and the sounds are lovely and rich as the earbuds are of good quality. ... Read More:

I'm a DJ and personally don't go for the fancy expensive can's that big names throw out. I previously owned the V200 which had started to get a bit crackly on the Hi-Hat's and bass, so I wanted an upgrade and went for these seeming as they're next in line.

Truth be hold in my eyes (or ears, should I say...) their is very little difference between these and even the V200 or V500 (both of which cost more or less!). The build quality is the same; OK but over time becomes creaky and fragile. The sound quality is very much similar, perhaps a little more bass performance in these than the V200. Why haven't you got one of these. It's the best bargin you'll ever get with 'Sony' stamped on it. Everything that the other reviewers say is true. It even fits my ancient, but excellent, 1980s SLR camera.

I like Sony, they do the job with no problems. What more can I say. If you want cheaper, you can probably find cheaper. If you want something reliable with high quality buy these.

Sony DCR-HC62E Mini DV Handycam with X25 Zoom

The must-have feature that clinched the buying decision for me was DV-In so I could record back to tape after editing. Very few budget camcorders have that. I edit using iMovie 2 on an old Mac PowerBook and this model works just fine, both in and out of the Mac's FireWire ports.

Time lapse recording is great; leave the Camcorder on a tripod and it will take one frame every 2 to 120 seconds and produce those time-lapse sequences you see on TV. Very cool.

My gripes are:
(1) the automatic light level setting seems dark to me when filming inside. Any backlighting at all can cause the foreground image to be quite dark. There is a backlighting compensation control, but you often don't realise you needed it until you view the footage ... Read More:

What none of the descriptions tell you about this product is that the USB only works with a selection of Sony Walkmans. I have a Walkman phone and bought the system to work in conjunction with it. Nope, not supported, and neither is anything else. There is a Digital Media Port, which although advertised in some catalogues as multi media, is ONLY for i-pods. Why then, does this thing have a port ONLY for sony Walkmans, and a port ONLY for i-pod? Surely you would only need (and therefore own) one or the other?

It also has a bluetooth connection, which predictably only works with certain Sony products.

I thought this would be the answer to my music playing and storage problems, but is, frankly, a pointless product. Don't get your hopes up, ... Read More:

Sony-Ericsson BST-37 K750i BATTERY

if you look at the picture of the battery it says 05W08 which I think means week 8 of 2005. Mine said 05w18 and it is as bad as the one I am replacing that came with the phone which was a 2006 battery.

I barely get 24 hours on standby with the settings down low.

Sony DVPFX720 Portable DVD player - Red

Excellent bit of kit. Great sound quality when using the headphone jack. Picture is nice and clear, no lines running down the 7" screen like cheaper makes.
Follow the clear instructions and the battery life will be 5 hours. I believe this to be the only 7" model with a 5 hour life. Their usually 2.5-3hr.
I would recommend this model to anybody!
