TomTom One V4 Carry Case & Strap - Black Good neat fit for the V4 TomTom One Europe. Good protection for the screen. Zip was a bit stiff but WD40 sorted that. Genuine TomTom case.

Having owned a TomTom 700 for some time a few months ago I bought a TomTom 720. I realised that TomTom had downgraded the product so that the remote control was no longer included but wasn't put off because the price is now a lot lower and the remote is available seperately. I was intrigued to see if my old remote would work but no, TomTom have changed the way it works. So I went ahead and ordered a TomTom remote. I ordered on the 1st Sept witha delivery estimate of 2 to 4 weeks. That came and went and I got an email from Amazon saying it was delayed and would be with me at the ned of October. I have just received another email from Amazon saying that it is delayed again - this time to April 2008. This is as good as saying the product ... Read More:

TomTom GO iPOD & Audio Cable for 910/710/510

I recently purchase a Go520 and got the iPod cable with it, the ability to listen to music via the SatNav unit was a great benefit. Before the directions would get drowned out by my music, now the music fades and the directions are crystal clear. In addition I can control my iPod via the TomTom and have both units provide sound via my in car radio. A perfect addition for anybody who likes to listen to music whilst travelling.

TomTom Three to GO Accessory Pack For GO 720/520

As rip-off accessory prices go, this is relatively good value, on the face of it - there are in fact FOUR items rather than three. You get a Tomtom case; a spare car charger and car suction pad; a mains charger (useful as Tomtom don't give you when you buy your satnav); the cable for the mains charger is in fact a USB cable so can also be used to connect to/charge from your PC. All very good so far...

But, but, BUT...

The Tomtom case has a very poor quality zip (as has been stated in the separate reviews of the case). As soon as you start using it, you can feel it straining horribly. Well - that'll teach me not to buy without reading the reviews first!

Everything you read is true - incredibly TomTom have released a case that barely fits the TomTom, that switches your TomTom 'on' when you close it (thus draining its battery), that is stitched together very haphazardly, and that begins to disintegrate the first time you try to use it.

The best tip for any TomTom Go or XL owner is to buy a 'Medium Camera Case' from your local Tesco (as I write they are £3.50). You can find them near the digital cameras in any large Tesco. They fit perfectly, are in black with padding and look smart and if you have a Go920 there's a separate pocket for the remote control - job done!

TomTom Rider v2 Great Britain

Firstly, the instructions are abysmal, with no detailed instructions on how to wire, nor how to assemble the RAM mount. They say to take it to an installer, but what are they supposed to use for instructions? I still have bits in the box, and have no idea what they are for. The maps supplied were out of date, and when I queried this on line, I was told they were the most current at the time of purchase. At least 6 months out of date, and thinks the Forth Bridge still has a toll, and has shown me riding through fields on several occasions already. After riding 330 miles from Leicester to Scotland in the rain, the Cardo headset was full of water, which squidged out when I hit the off button. TomTom RDS-TMC Traffic Receiver - TMC module for GPS receiver

I've recently purchsed a TomTom930T which includes this item, I have to say I'm pleased with it so far. Reception is good with updates being downloaded within a few minutes of connection. The updates review the quickest route and modify.
I did wonder if the other folks who have had problems are running it on an older version of TomTom? I did hear that this wasn't working well for a few people.
I've puchased a second lead for my other car.
Pity that the arragement looks untidy - would have been handy to be able to discretely arrange behind the screen trim.
