The instructions which arrived with this device are unreliable.
On plugging in to the ipod nano and attempting to change frequency the ipod 'FROZE' and had to be reset. This happened every time when attempting to 'fast change' frequency by holding up/down butttons as instructed.
Frequency selection can only be done on a step by step basis and then the ipod is stable.
The range is very limited, ca. 5ft. with competitive products claiming 5 - 10 meters.
Frequency selection is very critical as an unnaceptable 'hiss' occurs on some channels.
When carefully set up and with the nano close to the FM receiver the sound quality is fine!

just a quick review. fits perfectly on ipod classic 80gb. everythg else is good. value for money, if ur the-colour-coordinate type. am qt pleased except the fact that sometimes, its hard to scroll my ipod..such a bummer!

I bought one of these transmitters to use in the new steam shower, we have just had installed. I think it's a great value transmitter. It's very easy to use, and runs off the I-Pod battery, which it doesn't seem to unduly affect in regard to battery life. It is not interference free but unless you turn the volume very high it doesn't spoil the sound quality too badly. I am very pleased with it.

I am sure this is a good piece of kit for the car. The only thing that bothers me is recharging. I have had a car cig lighter recharger sent with product. Why on earth is this so? I bought the kit to be free of wires in the car but so far, the only way I can recharge it is to connect it by wire to the cig lighter. A very bright idea by the producer, sic sic.

for 19.85 you can find on amazon the same pack for iPod classic, with the manufacturer's comment for classic. I bought that one to be sure as the comments for this one are for the nano. Very good pack, most of what you need to protect your iPod and charge it anywhere. Nice little speakers but will not play that loud with a good quality of sound.
